Pittsburgh-based PPG’s automotive refinish business returns as a Penske Racing sponsor this season and beyond.

The 2013 season marks the 29th year of the successful partnership between Penske Racing and PPG. PPG Automotive Refinish will be the primary sponsor of the No. 12 Ford Mustang driven by Sam Hornish Jr. in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway on July 5. In the IZOD IndyCar Series, the No. 3 PPG Automotive Refinish Dallara/Chevrolet will compete at three events in 2013 with three-time Indianapolis 500 champion Helio Castroneves behind the wheel. Through the extended partnership PPG will also be an associate sponsor throughout the season on all Penske Racing NASCAR and INDYCAR teams.-Penske Racing
