He moved up three spots to sixth in the 2013 NNS point standings.

Rich DeLong III finishes 14th in Saturday night's NASCAR K&N Pro Series-West race at State Line Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho.

He started the No. 84 Chevrolet 16th on the grid for the NAPA Auto Parts/Toyota 150. He is currently 9th in the 2014 K&N-West point standings.

Mark Dilley finishes 19th in Friday night's NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race at Edmonton International Raceway (Wetaskiwin, Alberta).

He started the No. 02 Ford 2nd on the grid for the Alberta Has Energy 300. He is currently 11th in the 2014 NCATS point standings.

Martin Truex Jr. finished 12th in Sunday’s Camping World RV Sales 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway after scoring the 13th-best average running position of 14.456.

Truex had a solid performance and earned the finish he seemed to deserve, but this independent team still has some work to do before they make their way onto very many fantasy rosters on a consistent basis.

Kasey Kahne’s 11th-place finish in the Camping World RV Sales 301 was not indicative of how he ran for most of Sunday afternoon. He spent approximately 220 laps in the top 10 and scored the ninth-best average running position of 9.125.

Sitting 17th in the standings and without a victory this season, Kahne remains outside of Chase contention. Narrow misses such as this minimizes his fantasy appeal until he is capable of stringing multiple top-10s together.

In the history of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Matt Crafton has been one of the most consistent and impressive performers in the venue's previous seven events.

The reigning series champion padded his Iowa stats and regained the series point lead with a third-place effort after qualifying sixth in the American Ethanol 200. Crafton entered Friday's event as one of only two drivers to have finished in the top-10 in all seven previous NCWTS races at the Midwestern track, and extended that streak while battling a loose Menards Toyota Tundra and lapped traffic throughout the 200-lap event.-ThorSport Racing

Dale Earnhardt Jr. believed he had a much stronger car than his 10th-place finish indicated and was disappointed with his finish in Sunday’s Camping World RV Sales 301.

Partly due to a poor qualification effort of 28th, Earnhardt’s average running position at New Hampshire was only eighth-best, but he spent approximately 250 of 305 laps in the top 10. He was the only driver who started outside the top 25 to earn a top-10 finish making him a strong choice in games that reward place differential.
Jul 13 - 7:31 PM

When he crossed under the checkers ninth in the Camping World RV Sales 301, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. scored his first top-10 in the last nine races and his first such finish on an unrestricted oval since week four of the 2014 season at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Roush-Fenway Racing is not known for their strength on short, flat tracks, but Stenhouse hovered around the 10th-place mark for much of the final segment of the race. In the closing laps, he managed to pass the Hendrick Motorsports teammates Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kasey Kahne, which should put him on fantasy players’ radar screens the next time the series rolls into New Hampshire.
Jul 13 - 7:15 PM

Denny Hamlin finished eighth at New Hampshire after running second in the closing laps of the Camping World RV Sales 301, but his fortune could have been much worse without a great call regarding fuel mileage.

Hamlin was one of several drivers attempting to implement a fuel mileage strategy in Sunday’s race, but when a late-race caution for an accident involving Justin Allgaier sent the Camping World RV Sales 301 into overtime, he quickly reversed his strategy and pitted for fuel. He restarted outside the top 15 and climbed to eighth in the final three laps, salvaging much-needed points for his fantasy owners. More importantly, he seemed to have regained some of the short, flat track magic he lost earlier this year.
Jul 13 - 6:55 PM

Tony Stewart finished seventh in Sunday’s Camping World RV Sales 301, but still finds himself outside of Chase contention. He currently sits 19th in the points’ standings, 22 markers behind the current cutoff.

Stewart has built a reputation for surging during the summer, but he admitted to reporters this week that he is not 100% after last year’s injury. The next three weeks will showcase races on the flat tracks of Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Pocono Raceway, and the road course of Watkins Glen International. He has been strong on these tracks, so his fans should not worry yet. Fantasy players will want to take a more cautious approach to starting him, however.
Jul 13 - 6:31 PM

Clint Bowyer quietly remained with the leaders for most of the Camping World RV Sales 301 and crossed under the checkers in sixth.

Bowyer spent approximately 145 laps in the top five on Sunday and earned the fourth-best average running position of 7.003. After finishing 13th at Phoenix and ninth at Martinsville earlier this season, he will be a driver to watch during the next flat track race in two weeks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Jul 13 - 6:11 PM

The Camping World RV Sales 301 was not uniformly smooth for Ryan Newman, but a late-race surge on his part and failed fuel mileage gambles by other drivers elevated him to a top-five finish. He improved from his 24th-place qualification effort to finish fifth on Sunday.

Newman’s average running position of 15.538 was only the 17th best in the field, which will make him a difficult driver to handicap when the series returns to New Hampshire this fall. Fantasy players should watch for signs of strength on the flat tracks of Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Pocono Raceway in the next two weeks to help make their decision.
