Austin Dillon drove Richard Childress Racing's No. 3 AdvoCare Chevrolet to a sixth-place finish in the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

Dillon started the 200-lap affair from the fourth position and looked strong from the start of the race, taking the lead in the black No. 3 Camaro on lap eight before settling into the third position. Dillon was scored in the seventh position for a lap-193 restart and worked his way into the sixth spot in the final seven laps of the event, to post his second consecutive top-10 finish of the season.-Richard Childress Racing

Jeb Burton (No. 3 Estes Express Lines Chevrolet Camaro) will be making his first start for Richard Childress Racing (RCR) this weekend at Richmond Raceway.

The 25-year-old driver has two previous NASCAR Xfinity Series starts and two Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series starts at the track. Said Burton: "Having competed in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series at Richmond Raceway will definitely help me prepare for this upcoming weekend. Richmond is a difficult race track, but I believe my experience will pay off and help us get a good set up on our car during practice for the race."-RCR

Matt Tifft (No. 2 National Brain Tumor Society Chevrolet Camaro) has three starts at Richmond Raceway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with his highest finish of 13th coming during last September's event.

The 21-year-old driver also has two NASCAR K&N Pro Series East starts at the 0.75-mile raceway, collecting one top-10 finish. Tifft has completed 98.2 percent of all laps he has attempted at the track.-Richard Childress Racing

In addition to driving his regular No. 21 Chevrolet Camaro in the XFINITY Series ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond (VA) Raceway on Friday, Daniel Hemric will pilot the Richard Childress Racing No. 8 Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff Chevrolet in Saturday night's Cup Series Toyota Owners 400.

Hemric will be making his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series debut this weekend. The Kannapolis, NC native served as a test driver for the RCR MENCS teams at the Charlotte Motor Speedway road course Goodyear Tire Test in October 2017. He also practiced for the RCR MENCS teams in late 2017 while being on stand-by as a substitute driver for Paul Menard and Ty Dillon.-RCR

Last year, Eric Goodale broke a 35-race winless streak in NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour competition at Stafford Motor Speedway when he captured the checkered flag in the NAPA Fall Final 150.

And now, as Goodale looks to rebound from a 27th place finish in the Icebreaker 150 at Thompson, the Riverhead, New York, driver is looking to capture a second straight victory at the Connecticut half-mile. On April 29, Goodale is hoping to add his name to the list of Spring Sizzler 200 winners — a list that already includes some of the best modified drivers New England has seen.

In 7 career Stafford starts, Lutz has 4 top-10 finishes, including top-10 runs in all three NWMT races at Stafford last season. Lutz scored his first career pole position at Stafford last August.

Timothy Peters will attempt to qualify for his first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway with Ricky Benton Racing next week, the team confirmed to The Racing Experts Wednesday.

Talladega will mark Peters’ first attempt at a Cup Series race, driving the No. 92 Ford. The team said Advance Auto Parts will be the primary sponsor for the ride. Peters has made 239 starts in the Camping World Truck Series, notching 10 wins in the series and a career-high of second in driver’s standings in 2012. Additionally, the driver made eight starts for Richard Childress Racing in the XFINITY Series between 2006 and 2007.

Natalie Decker will make her third start of the 2018 ARCA Racing Series campaign this weekend in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200 at Salem Speedway.

With nine ARCA starts overall going back to Toledo 2017, her Salem appearance marks her debut at the storied southern Indiana short track. A fan favorite, Decker started out the season winning the General Tire Pole Award and finishing fifth at Daytona. After her 11th-place finish at Nashville, the Eagle River, Wis. racer finds herself third in ARCA championship standings headed to Salem.

Ed Hakonson Racing/Team 3 Red will be embarking on a new journey in 2018. Long time EHR driver Jason Hathaway, who stepped away from full time competition at the end of 2016, will now be overseeing a new talent behind the wheel in Cole Powell in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.

The Mount Brydges, Ontario driver will race the #3 Chevrolet Camaro for the entire 2018 season. Cole will embark on a grueling 13 race schedule across Canada which will visit five provinces and one American state. Cole has made his way up through the ranks beginning in 2006 at Grand Bend Speedway in the Pro Mini Truck division and moving up to full size trucks at Delaware Speedway in 2007 gaining valuable seat time on a fast half mile.-Team3Red

Over his last five NASCAR XFINITY Series starts at Richmond Raceway, Michael Annett (No. 5 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet) has an average finish of 9.8, with a top-five and two top-10 finishes.

His best finish at RR is fifth, which occurred in the fall 2012 event on the .75-mile D-shaped oval. He was eighth in this race last season. In his last seven starts on short tracks in the NXS circuit, Annett has at least one top-10 finish at Bristol (10th), Iowa (sixth) and Richmond (eighth). In his 11 NXS starts at Richmond, Annett has completed 98.5 percent of all laps attempted there.-JR Motorsports

Tyler Reddick (No. 9 BurgerFi Chevrolet) will make his second career NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) start at Richmond Raceway this weekend.

In five career starts on short tracks in the NXS, Reddick has one top-five and two top-10 finishes with a best finish of third in the June 2017 event at Iowa Speedway. The California native is currently third in the NXS point standings and leads the Rookie of the Year standings.-JR Motorsports

Justin Allgaier (No. 7 Hellmann’s Real Ketchup Chevrolet) is coming off his third runner-up finish of the season. This weekend at Richmond Raceway, he’ll be one of four drivers competing in the Xfinity Dash 4 Cash.

In 14 NXS starts at RR, he has three top fives and six top 10s. He’s finished inside the top eight in his three most recent starts at the Virginia short track. Last spring, Allgaier led 157 of 254 laps on his way to a second-place finish. He also took home the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash prize that day. He has the most laps led (158) at Richmond among NXS regulars. He is also the leader in laps led this season among his NXS peers, holding point for 137 laps.-JR Motorsports
