He has two wins, six top-fives, 12 top-10s and has led a total of 314 laps in his 21 career Sprint Cup starts at Fontana. His average start is 14.8, his average finish is 13.5 and he has a lap completion rate of 96.8 percent. Stewart is the defending winner of the Auto Club 400. Stewart led twice for a total of 42 laps in last year’s rain-shortened race to score his 46th career Sprint Cup victory.-True Speed Communication

Ryan Blaney finished third in the Hollywood Casino in Kansas Speedway after starting 40th.

That means he added 37 place differential points to his total and as predicted he was one of the best values in the game. Blaney advanced to round three of the playoffs with this run.

Kurt Busch finished second in the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway after starting 15th.

That was Busch’s first top-five of the playoffs and he has an average finish of about 25th. He ended the regular season with three consecutive strong runs and might be on the rebound.

Martin Truex Jr. added five more bonus points to his total after winning the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Truex’s mission continues. He is out to prove that he could win the championship under any set of rules and with his dominated performance one would be hard-pressed to argue the point. He n ow has 69 bonus points compared to 42 for Kyle Busch.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series regular Christopher Bell, driving the No. 18 JBL Toyota, won the Kansas Lottery 300, his first victory in five NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) races.

This is his third top-10 NXS finish in 2017. Bell becomes the first driver to get his first NXS career win at Kansas Speedway. Tyler Reddick (second) posted his first top-10 finish in his first start at Kansas. It is his fifth top-10 finish in 2017. Cup driver Ryan Blaney (third) posted his second top-10 finish in three NXS races at Kansas. William Byron (fourth) was the highest finishing Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender. Justin Allgaier (fifth) leads the point standings by 2 points over William Byron.

Chase Elliott was only 15th-quick in Happy Hour practice for the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway with a speed of 178.243 mph.

That made Elliott the second slowest playoff contending driver and he can ill afford to struggle with the tight points’ battle among the top 12.

Joey Logano posted the 25th-quickest average speed in Happy Hour for the Hollywood 400 at Kansas Speedway.

That was out of 30 cars. The team has the resources to run faster, but Logano has struggled for some time now. He should be avoided until he begins posting consecutive top-10s.

Consistency is critical to handicapping for Fantasy NASCAR so when drivers have solid numbers in every session, it is a great indicator of who is going to be strong.

Ryan Blaney posted the fastest single lap in Happy Hour practice for the Hollywood Casino 400 with a speed of 182.057 mph.

Starting 40th, Blaney has a long way to come to the front, but he is going to earn place differential points. Given his cap, he is going to be one of the best values this week.

Kevin Harvick posted the quickest 10-lap average in Saturday morning’s practice session with a speed of 180.768 during his first 10 laps on the track.

Harvick also had the second-fastest time in that session which is a great balance of speed and durability. He has been solid on similarly-configured, 1.5-mile tracks and should be a great value. Harvick rolls off the grid second.

Kyle Larson posted the fastest single lap of practice Saturday morning for the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway with a speed of 181.671 mph.

For Larson, the burst of speed came a little too late. He qualified only 13th for the race, but that could indicate he is going to earn positive place differential points when he earns a top-10.

Tyler Reddick (No. 42 BBR/Dustin Lynch Chevrolet Camaro) won the Coors Light Pole Award for the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway with a lap of 181.117 mph.

This is his first pole in 17 NASCAR XFINITY Series races. It is his eighth top-10 start in 2017. Cup Series regular Erik Jones (second) posted his 13th top-10 start of 2017 and his second in two NXS races at Kansas. Another Cup regular, Ryan Blaney (third) posted his second top-10 NXS start at Kansas Speedway. It is his 10th in 11 NXS races this season. William Byron (sixth) was the fastest qualifying Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender.
