NASCAR Camping World Truck Series four-time champion, Ron Hornaday Jr., will climb back into the No. 9 NO FEAR Chevrolet Silverado.

The NTS Motorsports team built a brand new truck over the break for the past champion to bring to Martinsville. Said Hornaday:"Every morning I hear my grandfather clock chime and it makes me hungry to get back racing to get another one. The first one came from a cool race where I passed Kevin (Harvick) and then battled Kyle (Busch) for the win. It’s time to get another one of those clocks especially for this NTS Motorsports team and Joe Denette."-NTS Motorsports

Chris Buescher posted the slowest lap among Chase contenders in the first practice session for the Citizen Soldier 400 at Dover. His speed of 160.100 mph was 31st on the overall chart.

His speed was 0.744 seconds slower than the leaders and on a track where times are in the 21 second range, it will not take long to get lapped. Buescher is more expensive than he should be in most salary cap games because of his playoff status and he should be avoided.
Sep 30 - 12:10 PM

Ryan Newman posted the fastest speed among non-Chase contending drivers in the first practice session for the Citizen Soldier 400 at Dover International Speedway. His fastest lap was 164.511 mph.

Newman would like to play the role of spoiler this week, but he has not scored a top-15 in his last three Dover attempts. Wait to see how he performs in Saturday’s practice, but do not make your choice based on qualification; he has started in the top 10 in his last two attempts, but lost a lap in both races.
Sep 30 - 12:06 PM

Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth posted the second- and third-fastest time in the first practice session for the Citizen Soldier 400, and along with Kyle Larson bettered the current qualification record speed.

Edwards’ top speed was 165.122 mph; Kenseth posted a lap of 164.775 mph. Brad Keselowski holds the current record set in June 2014 with a lap of 164.444 mph. Chasers have dominated the speed chart in the first two races of the playoffs and are doing so once again. The top-14 in points is where this week’s fantasy favorites will come from.
Sep 30 - 11:57 AM

Kyle Larson posted the fastest single lap in the first practice session for the Citizen Soldier 400 at Dover International Speedway with a speed of 165.578 mph.

This has been Larson’s best track during his career, but he cannot afford to leave anything to chance. He needs a solid qualification run later on Friday to start up front and avoid as much trouble as possible. That eclipsed June 2014’s speed record in qualification of 164.444 mph set by Brad Keselowski, but records are not officially set in practice.
Sep 30 - 11:36 AM

Jamie McMurray finished 21st in this spring’s AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway, but what he really wants to duplicate is his 2015 success. Last year, he swept the top-10.

His best result last year on this track was a fourth in the fall, but that was not quite enough to advance him to the second round of the Chase. He must have his sight set on winning, but that is something he has never done in Delaware. McMurray finished second in 2006, which is one of only two top-fives at Dover.
Sep 30 - 11:21 AM

Reed Sorenson entered this spring’s AAA 400 with a three-race streak of running at the end of a race at Dover International Speedway. He crashed on lap 204 and failed to finish.

Premium Motorsports is making the most of their opportunities, but it is hard to know how they might have fared with a complete race. For now, there are better dark horse contenders to consider in the Citizen Soldier 400.
Sep 30 - 11:12 AM

With an average finish of 6.2 in five starts, Dover International Speedway is Kyle Larson’s best track. All but one of his starts there has ended in a top-10.

While this is Larson’s best track, one of his principal rivals for the top-12 in points shows this as his second worst. Austin Dillon should be easy to beat on paper, but there is a reason NASCAR runs the race and in order to keep a current streak of four top-10s alive, Larson needs to stay out of trouble.
Sep 30 - 11:04 AM

Paul Menard has scored six top-20 finishes in his last seven Dover International Speedway starts. Two of these were top-10s.

Dillon missed the top 10 this spring, but only by one position. He is flying under the radar with modest runs in recent weeks and could be one of this week’s greatest fantasy differentiators.
Sep 30 - 11:00 AM

In terms of average finishes, Dover International Speedway is Austin Dillon’s second-worst track with a 26.7 in six starts.

Dillon is five points behind the cutoff bubble and needs a much better result than he has ever experienced at Dover. He was 20th in June 2014, which is one of three top-25s. One piece of good news is that Dillon has been running at the end of every Dover race he entered.
Sep 30 - 10:53 AM

Dakoda Armstrong (No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota) will be making his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Dover International Speedway to go along with two prior starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 14th at the track known as The Monster Mile which came during the 2015 season. Dakoda finished 21st in the race earlier this season at Dover International Speedway.-Integrity Sports Marketing

Matt Tifft (No. 11 Toyota Tundra) has one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2015, starting 18th and finishing 19th.

On Saturday, Matt Tifft will race chassis number 020 in the DC Solar 350 at Las Vegas. This chassis was last raced to the win at Michigan International Speedway by Brett Moffitt.-Red Horse Racing
