Sheldon Creed (No. 55 AM Ortega/United Rentals Ford) finished ninth in Saturday's NASCAR K&N Pro Series-West (KNPSW) Carneros 200 at Sonoma Raceway (CA).

He started 15th in the lineup and completed all laps of the 64-lap race. Creed, who started in two of the eight KNPSW races so far this season, is currently 23rd in the 2017 championship standings after this event.

Chase Briscoe (No. 29 Cooper Standard Ford F-150) finished seventh in Friday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) M&M’S® 200 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA.

He started third in the lineup, led seven laps and completed all laps of the 200-lap race. Briscoe moved up from fourth to third in the 2017 NCWTS Championship point standings after this event, 76 points behind leader Johnny Sauter.

Justin Fontaine (No. 33 ProMatic Toyota) finished 11th in Friday night's ARCA Racing Series Montgomery Ward 200 at Madison Int’l Speedway in Oregon, WI.

He started 10th in the lineup and completed all laps of the 200-lap race. Official series points are not available at this time, but Fontaine, who has competed in five of the nine ARCA races so far this season was 20th in driver championship standings heading into Madison.

He started sixth in the lineup and completed 195 laps of the 200-lap race. Rhodes, who competed in all nine truck races so far this season, is currently fifth in the 2017 NCWTS Championship point standings after this event.

William Byron (No. 9 AXALTA/WINDSOR Window & Doors Chevrolet Camaro) won the American Ethanol E15 250, his first victory in 14 NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) races.

This is his eighth top-10 finish in 2017 and his first top-10 finish at Iowa Speedway. Ryan Sieg (second) posted his first top-10 finish in seven races at Iowa. Tyler Reddick (third) posted his first top-10 finish at Iowa. Pole-sitter Christopher Bell led a race-high 152 laps and finished the 250-lap race in 16th place. Elliott Sadler (eighth) leads the point standings by 25 points over Justin Allgaier (ninth).

Matt Crafton (No. 88 Fisher Nuts/Menards Toyota Tundra) was credited with a 19th place DNF in Friday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) M&M’S® 200 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA.

He started 12th in the lineup and completed 184 laps of the 200-lap race before exiting the race (Accident). Crafton, who started in all nine truck races so far this season, slipped from third to fourth in the 2017 NCWTS Championship standings after this event.

Grant Enfinger (No. 98 Ride TV Toyota Tundra) finished fourth in Friday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) M&M’S® 200 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA.

He started 10th in the lineup, led 16 laps and completed all laps of the 200-lap race. Enfinger, who competed in all nine truck races so far this season, is currently sixth in the 2017 NCWTS Championship point standings after this event.

Six races into the 2017 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season, and Timmy Solomito is looking every bit the driver to beat for the championship.

Saturday, the Islip, New York, driver returned to his home track of Riverhead Raceway and picked up his third win of the season. He held off David Sapienza on an overtime finish to take the Buzz Chew Chevrolet-Cadillac 200. Solomito started on the pole and held serve for his seventh career victory. He also won this event last year. His No. 16 Starrett Tools Ford led three times for a race-high 151 laps, including the final 102 as a caution on Lap 196 pushed the race to 208 laps. The runner-up was a career-best for Sapienza, a Riverhead native. Doug Coby finished third while four-time Riverhead winners Ryan Preece and Justin Bonsignore crossed the line fourth and fifth, respectively.

Chris Buescher earned the best qualification result of his career in Saturday’s time trials for the Toyota / Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. He’ll start ninth.

Buescher’s previous best came at Bristol Motor Speedway last August when he rolled off the grid 12th. He finished fifth in that race, so his starting position should be considered a good omen.

Kevin Harvick made his NASCAR K&N Pro Series West return and he delivered. The Bakersfield, California, native dominated the Carneros 200 at Sonoma Raceway.

Harvick held off hard-charging Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender in Will Rodgers, while the rest of the field was more than nine seconds back.Harvick won the 1998 West championship on his way up the NASCAR ladder, which culminated in winning the 2014 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championship. He drove the No. 4 Fields Ford for Jefferson Pitts Racing to his eighth victory of his career in the K&N Pro West Series. Rodgers, a 22-year-old from Murrieta, California, won his first Coors Light Pole Award earlier in the day and brought his No. 7 Solvang Brewing Company Ford home in second place, his best finish of his 14 K&N Pro Series West starts.
