Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Kyle Larson comes into the Friday night event at Kentucky Speedway with more experience than most tracks he has encountered on the NNS schedule.

Larson made his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut with Turner Scott Motorsports in the first event at the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval in 2012, earning a 10th-place finish. Austin Theriault will drive Brad Keselowski Racing's No. 2 Ford F-150 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) North Carolina Education Lottery 200 on May 20 at Charlotte (NC) Motor Speedway.

Theriault, 22, who has 10 previous NCWTS starts with BKR, will be making his first appearance at Charlotte. His one previous Truck Series start in 2016 came with BKR in the season-opening event at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, where he qualified fourth and led five times for a race-high 31 laps before a late-race accident left him with a 27th-place finish. In 2015, Theriault claimed two top fives (a fourth-place finish in his first-ever series start at Daytona and fifth-place finish at Texas) and four top-10 finishes in nine starts.-BKR

Austin Cindric will drive Brad Keselowski Racing's No. 2 Ford F-150 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Dover 200 at Dover (Del.) International Speedway (May 13).

Cindric, 17, made his NCWTS debut at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway with BKR last October, where he qualified 14th and ran well before a late-race incident relegated him to a 25th-place finish. His second NCWTS start came at Phoenix (Avondale, Ariz.) International Raceway a few weeks later, where he scored a respectable 14th-place finish.-BK Racing

In three previous starts at Talladega Superspeedway, 24-year-old Matt Kurzejewski has two top-10 finishes, with a career-best sixth-place finish on the 2.66-mile track in 2015.

Coming off a solid ninth-place finish at Salem last Sunday, the No. 52 Ansell-Menards team will unload chassis No. 366 for Talladega, the same chassis that won the Menards Pole during 2016 Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway with Cole Custer behind the wheel.

Lira Motorsports announces today that Korbin Forrister will be behind the wheel of the No. 59 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards entry at Talladega Superspeedway for this Friday’s General Tire 200.

Forrister, who has experience in both the ARCA Racing Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, is excited to be tackling the high banks of Talladega. This will be his second career ARCA start at the track following his 13th place finish there in 2013. "I’m looking forward to being in Talladega," Forrister said. "I have some success there in the ARCA Series and the NASCAR Truck series with a few top-15 finishes, but I really think we can be fast enough to get a win there this weekend."

Jeb Burton (#43 J. Streicher Ford Mustang) heads to Talladega Superspeedway with just two starts in the Camping World Truck Series under his belt.

In his first start in 2013 in the Truck Series, Burton started on the pole and finished 18th. He improved his finishing position the next year, finishing 16th. This will be Burton's first race in the XFINITY Series at the 2.66-mile Superspeedway. Following a 19th-place finish at Richmond last weekend, Burton moved up one spot in the Championship Points Standings, now sitting in 11th place.-Breaking Limits

Besides driving his #24 Chevrolet SS in Sunday's Sprint Cup GEICO 500, Chase Elliott will be piloting the JR Motorsports #88 Armour Chevrolet Camaro in Saturday's XFINITY Series Sparks Energy 300.

Elliott already has one restrictor-plate win in 2016, after winning the NXS race at Daytona earlier this year. In four NXS starts for JRM so far this season, he has four top-five efforts, with an average finish of 3.5. The Georgia native has 13 starts on tracks measuring two or more miles in length, with one win, four top-five and seven top-10 finishes.-JRM

Justin Allgaier (#7 Breyers Chevrolet Camaro) has three top-10 finishes in his last three NASCAR XFINITY Series starts at Talladega Superspeedway, with a best finish of fifth (2013).

With five total NXS starts at the track, his only two finishes outside of the top 10 resulted from accidents. Overall at restrictor-plate tracks, the Illinois native has three top fives and eight top 10s in 16 NXS starts. Allgaier will be racing the same chassis that Kasey Kahne earned a third-place finish with at Daytona this year.-JR Motorsports

In only seven NASCAR XFINITY Series starts at Talladega Superspeedway, Elliott Sadler (#1 OneMain Chevrolet Camaro) has one win (2014), two top fives and four top 10s, with one pole.

Sadler leads all current full-time NXS drivers in wins at Talladega Superspeedway by way of his 2014 victory. He is currently second in the NXS point standings, only nine points back. This season, Sadler has collected three top-five and seven top-10 finishes in eight starts with JR Motorsports.

Dakoda Armstrong (#28 Winfield Toyota Camry) will be making his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Talladega Superspeedway to go along with two prior starts each in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the ARCA Series.

He won the ARCA Series event in 2010 after starting from the pole. Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 18th at the 2.66-mile long track which occurred during the race in 2014.-Integrity Sports Marketing

Brandon McReynolds (#24 Monster Truck/Redneck Riviera Toyota Camry) will be making his first career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Talladega Superspeedway.

He does have three career starts in the ARCA Series at the Talladega track including a trip to Victory Lane in 2012. This event will be McReynolds second career XFINITY Series start and his first since 2010.-JGL Racing

Mark Thompson (#66 Phoenix Air Toyota), from Cartersville, Ga., is the oldest superspeedway pole winner in history, taking the pole position at Daytona in 2015.

Last week’s winning crew chief, Jeff McClure, will call the shots for Thompson during the General Tire 200. Thompson has twice finished second at Talladega in 1996 and 1997. If he wins at Talladega, he would become the oldest superspeedway winner in stock car history. Thompson will be 65 on July 9. Currently, six-time ARCA champ Iggy Katona is the oldest with his win at Daytona at the age of 57 in 1974.-Venturini Motorsports
