Winning in his hometown paled in comparison to the summer heat for Daniel Suarez as he won the Regia 240 at Autódromo Monterrey in NASCAR Toyota Series action on Sunday.

On a day where temperatures eclipsed 100 degrees, the Monterrey native and 2011 Rookie of the Year ran most of the race without water after the hose he uses to keep hydrated during the race fell out of position. That didn't stop him from capturing the lead on lap 48 and holding off all challengers over the final 17 laps en route to his second win of the season. It was the fourth career win for the pilot of the No. 3 TELCEL Toyota and first on his hometrack.-NASCAR.com

He started the No. 21 Chevrolet Silverado 9th in the lineup for the American Ethanol 200. After this event, Coulter advanced one position to 9th in the 2014 NCWTS point standings.

Woody Pitkat was credited with a 25th place DNF in Saturday's NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

He started the No. 88 Chevrolet 15th in the lineup for the Sunoco 100. The engine let go on the Chevy after 69 laps of the 110 lap event. Pitkat was credited with a 25th place finish (DNF) and is currently 7th in the 2014 NWMT point standings.

James Buescher started 17th for the Sta-Green 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Just past the half way point, an incident ahead of the Texas native collected the Rheem machine. He received slight damage and after repairs, Buescher rejoined the field in the 19th position, one lap down. On lap 141, the team took the wave around to put them back on the lead lap. Running just outside the top-15, In 16th, Buescher went to work and climbed all the way up to 12th position. With three laps to go, the No. 99 came up just shy on fuel and relegated Buescher to 22nd position, three laps down.-RAB Racing
