Scott Speed can't wait for Saturday night's Coke Zero 400 at the Daytona for another good opportunity to drive the No. 95 Leavine Family Racing (LFR) Ford to Victory Lane.

Though the team makes selected appearances in the Cup Series, their strength has come at the two restrictor-plate tracks, including Daytona. A 23rd-place finish at the season-opening Daytona 500 and a ninth-place effort at the Aaron's 499 at the Talladega are the two best finishes for Speed and LFR this year. "Even at Daytona we led laps," Speed said. Speed has completed 877 of 886 laps in his career at Daytona.-Leavine Family Racing

Road-course racing veteran Justin Marks will be behind the wheel of the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro for two NASCAR XFINITY Series events this season.

He will compete for HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio on Aug. 16 and Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisc. on Aug. 29. He has competed in many forms of road-course racing as well as in all three of NASCAR’s national series. He was also part of the winning team in the 2009 Rolex 24 At Daytona in the GT division of the TUDOR United Sports Car Championship. An accomplished entrepreneur, Marks is the owner of The Drylake Group, a sports and entertainment development company, GoPro Motorplex and KartSport North America. In 2014, Marks partnered with NSCS driver Kyle Larson to form Larson Marks Racing, a World of Outlaws sprint car team. In 2015, Marks teamed up with HSMCG owner Harry Scott Jr. to form HScott Motorsports with Justin Marks, fielding five cars in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.-HScott Motorsports

Eric Jones was fastest in the lone practice session for the Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 200 at Dover International Speedway.

The 155.885 mph lap in the No. 4 Special Olympics World Games Toyota Tundra was the fastest of the 33 trucks out on the track for the practice leading up to Friday night’s event. No. 00 Cole Custer, No. 51 Daniel Suarez, No. 13 Cameron Hayley and No. 14 Daniel Hemric are the rest of the top 5 on the speed chart. Norm Benning was the slowest (130.933 mph) in the No. 6 Chevrolet Silverado. Jones also had the fastest 10-lap average speed (151.351 mph) among the 11 trucks that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session.

Jamie McMurray’s crew chief Matt McCall has been place on probation through December 31st after receiving a P2 penalty from NASCAR. The punishment was for modifying the right rear quarter panel opening after qualifying inspection for the Coke 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

So long as McCall does not get dinged by NASCAR again, the impact of this penalty will not be felt, but he will face harsher fines if caught with another infraction. That will make the team slightly more conservative in future races.

Jimmie Johnson and Justin Allgaier have received P1 penalties from NASCAR for taking too many passes through the inspection line during the All-star and Coke 600 weekends. No matter how well they qualify at Dover International Speedway for the FedEx 400, they will have the last two pit stall selections.

On a tight pit road like Dover, that is a significant penalty and it is going to have a negative impact on Johnson’s ability to win. Allgaier qualified 35th in two of his last three starts and will not feel the impact nearly as much.
May 27 - 6:05 PM

Paul Menard has been consistent and occasionally strong at Dover in recent seasons. He enters the FedEx 400 with four consecutive top-20s and a best of 10th in this event last spring.

Menard’s worst finish at Dover in the past three years was a 24th and he has an average of 17th. He should finish in that range again on Sunday and that predictability allows players to formulate a strategy.

Justin Allgaier simply needs a clean race this week at Dover International Speedway. He has been involved in at least six accidents in his last seven starts; two of these came at Martinsville Speedway in the STP 500, which leaves two incident-free events.

At Bristol Motor Speedway, Allgaier salvaged a strong finish despite sustaining damage, but he was not as lucky last week at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Coke 600. He failed to finish and was credited with 43rd.

Brian Scott has been a hidden fantasy value this year with a 13th-place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and a 27th at Auto Club Speedway. He might have made that three strong races at Talladega SuperSpeedway if not for a blown engine.

Dover International Speedway is tough to master, but it is a driver’s track. Scott should be able to separate himself from the other mid-tier drivers and finish somewhere in the high 20s or low 30s this week. That makes him a good value, and depending on his qualification effort he could be a great value.

Grant Enfinger finished fourth in Sunday's ARCA Racing Series race at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville New Jersey.

He started the No. 23 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet seventh in the lineup for the ARCA 150 presented by Unique Pretzels. He led five laps of the 67-lap event. Enfinger continues as the points leader in the 2015 ARCA Racing Series Championship standings. He leads Josh Williams (finished third-place in the race) by 40 points.
May 26 - 8:48 PM

Chris Buescher finished 11th in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC.

He started the No. 60 Roush Performance Products Ford Mustang 14th on the grid for the Hisense 300. He completed all of the 200 laps run. He retains his position as the points leader in the 2015 XFINITY Series championship standings after the event, leading Ty Dillon by four points.
May 25 - 5:11 PM

Kurt Busch finished 10th in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway to keep his perfect streak of top-15s alive this season.

Busch has completed all but one lap in the nine races he started in 2015 and that came at Bristol Motor Speedway because of crash damage. He has been one of the most reliable fantasy picks and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
May 25 - 10:01 AM

The bad news is that Kevin Harvick scored his second-worst finish of the season when he crossed under the checkers in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The good news, that was still enough for his 11th top-10 in the first 12 races of this season.

Harvick spent enough time in the lead that he was one of the top earners in the NASCAR Fantasy Live game and other contests that offer more than just finishing points. His Charlotte finish was also impacted by the fact that at least four drivers ahead of him achieved their position through a fuel mileage gamble.
