Josh Williams will pilot the No. 02 Allegiant Travel Ford Fusion this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway, representing a new partnership between his family-owned team and Gallagher Motorsports.

Williams, from Port Charlotte, Fla., enters the race sixth in the driver point standings. He ran most of the season in his family-owned Josh Williams Motorsports Ford but ran at Elko Speedway for the Roulo Brothers, at Road America for Kimmel Racing and for Gallagher Motorsports at Winchester Speedway. He has four top-10s and two sixth-place finishes to his credit this season.

Kurt Busch finished ninth in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway after leading the second-most laps of 50.

There are several ways to earn points in Fantasy NASCAR so Busch was one of the better values this week. He was one of three Stewart-Haas Racing teammates to finish in the top 10 and that bodes well for the next several races. Aric Almirola also challenged for a top-10 as well before finishing 13th.
Feb 25 - 9:02 PM

Kyle Busch finished seventh in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, which was his third top-10 in the past five races on the track.

Busch has finished in the top 10 in every other race at Atlanta stretching back to 2013 when this race was run in the fall. His other two results were 16th and that made him a questionable value this week. He provided an adequate return on investment to fantasy owners.
Feb 25 - 8:54 PM

Kyle Larson was handicapped seventh and finished ninth in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

While Larson finished near where we expected, he had an up and down race. Despite his top-10, he might have been a disappointment to many players because of his numerous second-place finishes on this track type last year, including one here at Atlanta Motor Speedway last spring behind Brad Keselowski. He also ran well at Las Vegas Motor Speedway the following week and should be considered a threat next Sunday.
Feb 25 - 8:18 PM

Joey Logano hovered around the top 10 most of the afternoon for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway and finished sixth in the final rundown.

Logano had a season he wanted to forget in 2017. His strong run last week at Daytona International Speedway gave him a little additional confidence, but this will do a lot to spur him into a points’ position that gives him a little breathing room. Prior to this race, he was second in the standings.
Feb 25 - 8:02 PM

Martin Truex Jr. was in jeopardy of finishing a lap of the pace until a late-race caution put him back in sync with the leaders. He finished fifth in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Truex was one of the most dominant drivers last year on the similarly-configured, 1.5-mile tracks, which made him one of this week’s top choices. He started 35th after failing inspection, but he charged into the top 10 within 15 laps. He earned 30 place-differential points to go along with race points for fifth.
Feb 25 - 7:41 PM

Denny Hamlin ran with the leaders all afternoon and swept under the checkers fourth in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Hamlin was handicapped fifth in this week’s Cheat Sheets and surpassed that by one position. He and the entire Joe Gibbs Racing organization are expected to excel on the similarly-configured, 1.5-mile tracks. Hamlin led the charge, but Kyle Busch led laps during the afternoon and sophomores Erik Jones and Daniel Suarez ran well.
Feb 25 - 7:35 PM

Clint Bowyer qualified ninth and finished third in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Bowyer showed signs of speed in final practice with the fourth-best, 10-lap average finish. That is a sign that fantasy owners need to pay attention to all of the sessions during the weekend.
Feb 25 - 7:28 PM

Brad Keselowski finished 2.7 seconds behind Kevin Harvick to finish second in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Keselowski was the defending winner of this race. He went on a streak of top-10s on similarly-configured, 1.5-mile tracks after winning this event, but then faded toward the end of the season. Kez’s strong run is an indication that Team Penske is going to be solid for the start of 2018.
Feb 25 - 7:24 PM

Kevin Harvick whipped the field and won the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway handily after leading 173 laps of 325.

Winning was not a foregone conclusion until the final laps because he led the most circuits in the past four races at Atlanta before late-race mistakes cost him. Harvick has one previous win is his career with the first coming in his inaugural attempt in his rookie season - driving for the recently deceased Dale Earnhardt Sr. Harvick’s win comes on the heels of a win in the Xfinity race and a stage win on Sunday. This also makes him one of the top choices for Las Vegas Motor Speedway next week.
Feb 25 - 7:10 PM

With 27 laps remaining, Trevor Bayne blew an engine and retired from the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

This sends Bayne home 33rd after starting 20th—costing him 13 place differential points.
Feb 25 - 6:53 PM

Darrell Wallace Jr. ran into the back of Ricky Stenhouse Jr. with 27 laps remaining in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway and did significant damage. He could not see the track that was being smoked out by a blown engine on Trevor Bayne.

Wallace was not having a particularly good day to begin with. He was outside the top 25 at the time in his first Cup race on a similarly-configured, 1.5-mile track. This makes him a questionable proposition next week at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
