Todd Gordon, crew chief on the No. 22 Ford Fusion driven by Joey Logano in the Sprint Cup Crown Royal Presents the Samuel Deeds 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway wins the Moog Problem Solver of the Race award.

The award goes to the crew chief that improves the most from first half of the race to the second half utilizing the 40 best lap times (improved 0.328 seconds). Logano started the race in 11th place and finished in eighth. He is currently 18th in the 2013 Sprint Cup point standings.

Drew Herring (#24 JGL Racing Young Guns Toyota Camry) will be making his first career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The event will mark his 17th career start in the series and second one this season after piloting the No. 24 Toyota to a 14th place finish two weeks ago in Dover.-Integrity Sports Marketing

Tyler Dippel (#38 Chevrolet) will be making his debut at Dominion Raceway (Thornburg, VA) this weekend in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East ComServe Wireless 150.

Dippel enters this weekend's race as a newly selected 2016 NASCAR Next driver. The dirt car standout has certainly made his mark on the NASCAR world. Winning in only his second start, at a track similar to Dominion Raceway, Dippel has the No. 38 EastWest Marine/TyCar team excited to get back to the track. He currently sits fifth in NKNPSE point standings.-HSMJM

Hunter Baize (#13 Chevrolet) will be making his debut at Dominion Raceway (Thornburg, VA) this weekend in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East ComServe Wireless 150.

Baize enters race six of the NKNPSE season coming off his best finish of the year in his road course debut at VIR. His sixth-place effort has propelled him into the top 10 in the series point standings for the first time this season. Much of his racing career thus far has been spent racing on tracks similar to Dominion Raceway in the Midwest, most recently with the ARCA/CRA Super Series. The 18-year-old looks to continue his good start to 2016 with another top-10 finish this weekend.-HSMJM

Harrison Burton (#12 Chevrolet) will be making his debut at Dominion Raceway (Thornburg, VA) this weekend in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East ComServe Wireless 150.

Burton makes the trip to Thornburg following an exciting few weeks. The 15-year-old Huntersville, NC, driver was selected as a 2016 NASCAR Next member. Following a solid road course debut in the No. 12 Dex Imaging/Konica Minolta Toyota Camry at VIR, Burton looks to continue his recent upswing this weekend at Dominion Raceway.-HSMJM

Justin Haley (#5 Chevrolet) will be making his debut at Dominion Raceway (Thornburg, VA) this weekend in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East ComServe Wireless 150.

Haley has yet to finish outside of the top 10 in the 2016 NKNPSE season. He has spent time on tracks very similar to Dominion while driving late models. The Indiana native will look to take over sole possession of the NKNPSE points lead this weekend at Dominion Raceway.-HSMJM

Ryan Reed (#16 Lilly Diabetes/American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang) has competed at Charlotte Motor Speedway five times in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, never finishing outside of the top 15.

In 2015, he took home 12th- and 11th-place finishes in the spring and fall races, respectively. Reed in 2016: is scored 10th in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Championship standings after 10 races. Has led eight laps for the season and has recorded an average finish of 16.7.-Roush Fenway Racing

Dalton Sargeant (#55 Toyota Racing Development Camry) made his ARCA Racing Series debut less than a month ago with Venturini Motorsports and has already claimed two top-3 and three top-10 finishes during his first-ever series attempts.

After starting his season with impressive results, Sargeant now shifts focus to this weekend’s Twilight 150 presented by Unique Pretzels at New Jersey Motorsports Park’s Thunderbolt Raceway - a 2.3 mile-paved road course. He is considered to be one of the premier road racers on ARCA’s New Jersey entry list.-Venturini Motorsports

Jeb Burton (#43 Rocky Ridge Trucks Ford Mustang) has raced in all three NASCAR series at Charlotte Motor Speedway in his career.

He started from the pole in the Camping World Truck Series and has one Top-10 and three Top-15 finishes in three starts. He also competed for Biagi DenBeste Racing in the XFINITY Series in 2014, finishing 15th. Burton has found success at the 1.5-mile speedways this season, finishing 10th in Atlanta and 17th in Las Vegas.-Breaking Limits

Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) has secured a multi-year partnership extension with primary partner the Fastenal Company that will continue Fastenal’s position as the anchor partner of the No. 17 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team and driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

As part of the extension, Fastenal will also increase the number of its primary races in 2017 and beyond. Fastenal is currently in its fifth season as a primary partner in Roush Fenway’s Sprint Cup stable, and its second full season as the anchor partner on Stenhouse’s No. 17 Ford Fusion.-RFR

Kasey Kahne has earned four top-10s this season. His last two successes were fourth-place finishes at Richmond International Raceway and again last week at Dover International Speedway.

Before fantasy owners form a bandwagon, however, it should be noted that Kahne has not yet earned back-to-back top-15s this season. He has come close on a few occasions, however, with a three-race streak of results 17th or better in April and he finished 16th before last week’s AAA 400 top-five.

Ryan Newman has scored three top-10s and three more top-15s this season, but only once has he scored back to tack top-15s. That came at Auto Club and Martinsville Speedway early in the season when he was 14th and 10th respectively.

His lack of consistency makes it difficult to place-and-hold the driver, but he has had some solid runs nevertheless. Only three of his 12 starts this year ended worse than 18th and one of these was on the wild card track of Talladega SuperSpeedway.
