Cole Custer leads a parade of youth in NASCAR K&N Pro Series qualifying Friday afternoon as he captured the 21 Means 21 presented by Coors Brewing Co. at Iowa Speedway.

Custer’s lap in the No. 00 Chevrolet of 23.673 seconds (133.063 mph) around the .875-mile oval earned the 15-year-old his first pole award. He qualified second for June’s race at Iowa. Four of the top five qualifiers for Friday night’s Pork Be Inspired 150 are all 17 and under. The second of two combination races between the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West and East is scheduled to take the green flag at 8 p.m. CT.

He has best finish of 13th this season at Kern. Finished 17th at Arizona’s Tucson Speedway last season.

Defending NAPA Auto Parts WildCat 150 race winner Noah Gragson (No. 7 AlertID/Speed Vegas/Colliers International Ford) will look to earn his first win of the 2016 season and become the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West's first back-to-back winner at the .375-mile Arizona Tucson Speedway oval.

If Gragson wins, he will tie Ron Hornaday Jr. for most series wins at Tucson, with two victories. Nine drivers from last year’s NAPA Auto Parts WildCat 150 will be returning this year. This will be the series’ second trip to the track since March 10, 2001, after making its return last season.
