Joey Logano wins the 44th Annual Pure Michigan 400, his third victory in 170 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.

This is the No. 22 Ford driver's first victory and 12th top-10 finish in 2013. His last victory came at Pocono on June 10, 2012, 44 starts ago. Logano won from the Coors Light Pole. Two of his three career wins have now come from the pole. This is his first victory and fifth top-10 finish in ten races at Michigan International Speedway. Logano moved up three spots to 13th in the 2013 NSCS point standings.

Clint King (No. 07 Toyota Camry) topped the speed charts on Thursday at NASCAR K&N Pro Series East practice at Richmond International Raceway for the Blue Ox 100.

King, a Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender out of Denton, N.C., got around the .75-mile D-shaped oval in 22.567 seconds for and average speed of 119.644 mph on his fourth lap of the 80-minute session. Jesse Little was second at 22.663 seconds (119.295 mph) followed by Scott Heckert at 22.634 seconds (119.290 mph). Brodie Kostecki at 22.744 seconds (118.713 mph) and Cameron Hayley with a time of 22.795 mph (118.447 mph) were fourth and fifth, respectively.

Sprint Cup regular Kevin Harvick has the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the Happy Hour practice for the Nationwide Series ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

The average speed of 119.759 mph in the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro was best of the 19 cars that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this final practice session. No. 31 Dylan Kwasniewski, No. 01 Landon Cassill, No. 9 Chase Elliott and No. 20 Daniel Suarez are the rest of the top five on this list.

James Buescher tops the speed chart in the Happy Hour practice session for the Nationwide Series ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

The No. 99 Toyota Camry driver ran a fast lap of 121.792 mph. No. 6 Trevor Bayne, No. 60 Chris Buescher, No. 16 Ryan Reed and No. 9 Chase Elliott round out the top five of the 40 cars out on the track. The No. 74 driven by Mike Harmon was the slowest in the final practice session.

Ryan Blaney leads the first practice session for the Nationwide Series ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond International Raceway.

The lap of 122.421 mph in the No. 22 Ford Mustang was quickest of the 38 cars out on the track for this session. No. 7 Regan Smith, No. 6 Trevor Bayne, No. 42 Kyle Larson and No. 3 Ty Dillon are the rest of the top five on the speed chart. Mike Harmon in the No. 74 was the slowest.

Swan Racing announced it has successfully restructured the company by finding solutions for the No. 26 and No. 30 teams in an attempt to save the jobs of the crews, the drivers, and to keep those teams competing throughout the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

The No. 30 team has been sold to John Cohen of XxxTreme Motorsports, which will operate the team going forward and intends to compete with veteran driver J.J. Yeley. Parker Kligerman remains under contract with Swan Racing, which will seek to identify options for him to get back on track.-Swan Racing PR

In 29 Sprint Cup starts at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has recorded three wins, one pole position, nine top-five finishes and 12 top-10s.

He has led a total of 494 laps and completed 99.2 percent of all laps he's attempted at the short track (11,513 laps of 11,609 total). Among active competitors, Earnhardt is one of four drivers ranked tied for second with three Cup victories at Richmond. Carl Edwards is looking for back-to-back wins at Richmond after his first victory at the three quarter mile track in the fall of 2013.

Edwards came from the 26th-position to win the Federated Auto Parts 400 in September. He has 19 Sprint Cup starts at Richmond with an average start of 13.3 and an average finish of 13.7. Edwards has finished in the top-five four times and in the top-ten ten times. The Car: Primary chassis was last run in 2014 at Bristol, finishing first.-Roush Fenway Racing

2014 will mark Chris Buescher’s second trip to Richmond International Raceway.

He competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at the 3/4 mile track in 2011 as a backup for Trevor Bayne, who fell ill. In 2011 Buescher began from the 21st-position finishing in 17th.
