Besides winning the race, Matt Kenseth’s team wins multiple race awards in the Sprint Cup Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Kenseth (20 Toyota Camry) won the 3M Lap Leader Award for leading the most laps (106 of 300). He also won the Mobil 1 Driver of the Race award. Toyota Racing Development (TRD) won the Mahle Clevite Engine Builder of the Race award. Kenseth leads the 2013 Chase for the Sprint Cup standings.

Rowan Pennink captured the victory in the Icebreaker 150 at Connecticut's Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 9, helping return the iconic iconic Boelher family No. 3 Chevrolet team to Victory Lane for the first time since Ryan Preece won in the car in 2009.

Pennink led 109 of the 150 laps at Thompson in route to his win and also led 38 laps in the season-opening race at Myrtle Beach Speedway back on March 18. His two consecutive top 10 finishes have him sitting second in the championship standings heading into Sunday's NAPA Spring Sizzler 200 at Connecticut's Stafford Motor Speedway.

Behind the wheel of the Goodie Motorsports' No. 46, Woody Pitkat will return home to Stafford (CT) Motor Speedway this weekend.

Pitkat, who has one SK Modified championship and one NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour win at Stafford, has also won two Late Model titles at the half-mile. His more than 50 career Stafford Whelen All American Series victories show that he knows his way around.

Todd Szegedy (No. 85 Montanari Fuel/Stuarts Automotive/J&R Pre-Cast Chevrolet), the 2003 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion is back full-time this season and he will certainly welcome his return to Stafford (CT) Motor Speedway.

Last season, Szegedy finished second in the Spring Sizzler 200, but didn’t compete in the other three events. In his career, he has visited Victory Lane four times and finished inside the top five in nearly half of his 53 career starts there.

After a victory in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season-opening event at Myrtle Beach Speedway, Timmy Solomito finished second in the Icebreaker at Thompson.

Coming into the Spring Sizzler 200 at Stafford (CT) Motor Speedway, Solomito is looking to start the season with three consecutive finishes inside the top two behind the wheel of his No. 16 Starrett Tools Ford and extend his championship points lead.

For the first time since last May, Ted Christopher is returning to the seat of the famed Brady Bunch No. 00 Chevrolet at Stafford (CT) Motor Speedway.

The former 12-time Stafford winner has finished inside the top 10 in 56% of his NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour starts at the half-mile oval and also is a six-time winner of the NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler 200. Christopher has over 100 career feature wins over all divisions at Stafford, making him the all-time wins leader at the track.

Bubba Wallace (No. 6 Mello Yello Ford Mustang) will make his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday afternoon.

In five previous starts at the .750-Mile short track, Wallace has recorded a best finish of 10th in Sept. 2012. In two starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East at the Virginia track, Wallace earned one victory in 2011. Recapping Bristol: Wallace improved 20 positions throughout the course of the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway before getting collected in a multi-car incident with 40 laps remaining, severely damaging his car and ultimately leading to a 33rd-place finish.-Roush Fenway Racing

Ryan Reed (No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang) has competed at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) eight times in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS).

He made his first career NXS start at the track in 2013, earning a 16th-place finish. His best career finish at the track came in September 2013 when he finished ninth. One year ago: Reed and the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes team finished 11th on Saturday at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) after fighting the car’s handling and overcoming damage on a late-race restart. After 18 seasons and more than 600 races behind the wheel, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will bring his NASCAR Cup Series driving career to a close at the conclusion of 2017.

Today, he shared the news with members of his No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports team. The fan favorite and two-time Daytona 500 champion will discuss his decision in a press conference this afternoon. He will be joined by Hendrick Motorsports owner Rick Hendrick, for whom Earnhardt has driven since 2008. The two first met about the driver’s decision on March 29. Earnhardt, who will turn 43 in October, made his first career Cup Series start on May 30, 1999, at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Since then, the Kannapolis, North Carolina, native has captured 26 points-paying Cup race wins and been voted by fans as NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver a record 14 consecutive years. He started fifth in the lineup and completed all laps of the rain-shortened 70-lap event. Baize, who competed in all three NKNPSE races so far this year, is currently second in the 2017 NKNPSE point standings after this event, 15 points behind leader Harrison Burton.

Elliott Sadler (No. 1 Armour 150 Years Chevrolet Camaro) finished fourth in Saturday's NASCAR XFINITY Series Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

He started 17th on the grid and completed all of the 300 laps run. Sadler retains his position as the points leader in the 2017 NXS championship standings after the event, leading William Byron (finished 12th in the race) by 16 points.
