Michael McDowell wins the American Ethanol Green Flag Restart award at Talladega Superspeedway.

The award is given to the eligible driver that records the fastest average speed on restarts and finishes the race on the lead lap. He earned the award for his 15th place finish in the Sprint Cup Camping World RV Sales 500 at Talladega. He is 37th in the 2013 Sprint Cup point standings.

Kaz Grala earned the General Tire Pole award for Friday afternoon's ModSpace 150 at Pocono Raceway.

Grala, in one of two cars fielded from MDM Motorsports, won the pole with a time of 52.787 seconds (170.497 mph) in the No. 41 ChargeCords.com Chevrolet. Grala opened the 2017 season with a victory in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona Int'l Speedway. The Boston, Massachusetts driver is racing in both the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards and the Truck Series this weekend at Pocono.

Christopher Bell (No. 4 SiriusXM Toyota Tundra) led the final NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice session for the Overton’s 150 at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA.

He ran a quick lap of 168.647 mph in this session. No. 51 Kyle Busch, No. 21 Johnny Sauter, No. 33 Kaz Grala and No. 18 Noah Gragson round out the top-five of the 34 trucks practicing in this session. Bryan Dauzat in the No. 28 FDNY/NYPD Chevrolet Silverado was the slowest.

Justin Haley led the ARCA Racing Series practice at Pocono Raceway. He went to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series garage and did the same thing.

Haley (No. 24 Fraternal Order of Eagles Chevrolet Silverado) led the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice session for the Overton’s 150 at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA. He ran a quick lap of 169.632 mph. No. 51 Kyle Busch, No. 33 Kaz Grala, No. 4 Christopher Bell and No. 18 Noah Gragson round out the top five of the 23 trucks completing laps in this session. Mike Senica in the No. 57 Chevrolet Silverado was the slowest.

Justin Haley put down the fastest lap in ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards practice Friday afternoon at Pocono Raceway. Then the Winamac, Indiana driver hopped out and headed over to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series garage to prep for the Truck race here Saturday.

Haley, in the No 78 Mason Mitchell Motorsports Chevrolet, was fastest among the 33 drivers who posted speed with a time of 53.046 seconds (169.661 mph). Petersburg, W.V.'s Codie Rohrbaugh (No. 7 Grant County Mulch Chevrolet) was second fastest overall. Zane Smith was third fastest overall in the No. 55 Musselman's BIG CUP Apple Sauce Toyota. Riley Herbst, who won the Pocono spring race, was fourth fastest in the No. 18 NOS Energy Drink-UFC Gym Toyota. Kaz Grala, in the No. 41 ChargeCords.com Chevrolet, completed the top-five. Grala is also competing here this weekend in the Truck Series.

Kevin Lacroix (No. 74 Bumper to Bumper/Total/Gates/Go Fast Dodge) finished eighth and fourth, respectively, in Wednesday's NASCAR Pinty's Series Velocity Prairie Thunder Twin 100s at Wyant Group Raceway in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

In the first race, he started on the pole, led 30 laps and completed all laps of the 104-lap overtime race. In the second event, he started third in the lineup, led three laps and completed all laps of the 100-lap race. Lacroix continues as the points leader in the 2017 NPS championship standings after these two events. He leads Alex Labbe by two points.

D.J. Kennington (No. 17 Castrol Edge Dodge) finished second in both Wednesday afternoon NASCAR Pinty's Series Velocity Prairie Thunder Twin 100s at Wyant Group Raceway in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

In the first race, he started third in the lineup, led 20 laps and completed all laps of the 104-lap overtime race. In the second event, he on the pole, led a race-high 74 laps and completed all laps of the 100-lap race. Kennington, who has competed in all seven Pinty's races so far this season, moved up two spots to fourth in the 2017 driver championship standings after these two events.
