Brett Moffitt (No. 16 AISIN Toyota Tundra) won the Active Pest Control 200, his second victory in 15 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) races.

This is his first victory and first top-10 finish in 2018. It is his first victory and first top-10 finish in two races at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS). Noah Gragson (second) posted his first top-10 finish in two races at AMS and his first top-10 finish in 2018. Johnny Sauter (third) posted his fourth top-10 finish in eight races at AMS. Kasey Kahne posted the 10th-fastest single lap in final practice for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway with a speed of 173.964 mph.

Not much has been expected from Kahne on unrestricted, intermediate speedways this early in the season, so a top-10 time in Happy Hour is certainly notable. It is unlikely that he will be able to finish that well and will probably lose a few spots from his 14th-place qualification, but he will be a provisionally good value if he finishes in the top 20.
Feb 24 - 7:12 PM

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regular Kevin Harvick, driving the No. 98 Hunt Brothers Pizza Ford Mustang, won the Rinnai 250, his 47th victory in 342 NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) races.

This is his first NXS victory and first top-10 finish in 2018. It is his fifth victory and 13th top-10 finish in 17 NXS races at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS). Another Cup regular, Joey Logano (second), posted his sixth top-10 finish in six NXS races at AMS. Pole-sitter Christopher Bell, the highest finishing Rookie of the Year contender, led 12 laps and finished the 163-lap race in third place. Elliott Sadler (fifth) leads the NXS point standings by 4 points over Tyler Reddick (19th).
Feb 24 - 5:10 PM

Denny Hamlin posted the quickest 10-lap average in final practice for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway with a 176.557 mph during his first 10 trip around the track.

Long run speed is a much greater indicator of who will run well on Sunday because times drop off precipitously on old tires. Hamlin struggled just a little in Friday’s qualification and had to take two runs in round one. By the time he got around the final round, he was out of rubber and will start 12th, but he should be considered a threat to finish in the mid-single digits.
Feb 24 - 1:51 PM

Ryan Newman posted the fastest single lap in final practice for Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway with a speed of 184.868 mph.

We knew Newman had speed because he qualified on the outside pole on Friday—just like he did in 2017. It is difficult to know what kind of durability he had last year, however, because he ran into trouble during the race. This weekend, he had only the 17th fastest, 10-lap average of 172.706 mph and that makes him questionable.
Feb 24 - 1:45 PM

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regular Kyle Busch, driving the No. 4 Cessna Toyota Tundra, won the Pole Award for today's Active Pest Control 200 with a lap of 30.844 seconds, 179.743 mph.

This is his 19th pole in 141 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) races. It is his second pole in ten races at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS). He won his first pole at AMS yesterday for Sunday's MENCS race at the track. Matt Crafton (second) posted his second top-10 start of 2018 and his eighth in 17 races at AMS. Noah Gragson (third) posted his second top-10 start at AMS. It is his second in two races this season. Dalton Sargeant (sixth) was the fastest qualifying Rookie of the Year contender.
