A break-through season for Josh Williams (99 Ford) saw him score 10 top 10 finishes among his 21 starts and fifth-place finish in the final ARCA Racing Series driver point standings.

Williams had a great early-season run at Talladega, finishing sixth, then followed that up with consecutive top 10 finishes at Toledo and Elko. His season best was a second at Chicagoland. Williams will receive the CGS Imaging Hard Charger of the Year honor at the post-season banquet.-ARCA Racing

Ben Kennedy (No. 2 Rheem Chevrolet Camaro) finished 11th in Saturday night's NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY.

He started 11th in the lineup and completed 199 of the 200 laps run. Kennedy entered 15 of the 27 NXS races so far this season and is 21st in the 2017 driver point standings after this event.

Stewart Friesen (No. 52 We Build America Chevrolet Silverado) finished fifth in Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) UNOH 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH.

That allowed Logano to pick up 29 place differential points in addition to his finishing result. He did not lead a lap, but then again six other top 10 drivers failed to lead laps as well.

In his fifth career attempt, Ryan Blaney scored his first top-10 at New Hampshire International Speedway when he crossed under the checkers ninth in the ISM Connect 300.

Blaney was able to capitalize on bad results by three of the playoff contenders and he needs one more strong run at Dover International Speedway to advance to the second round.

Daniel Suarez finished eighth in the ISM Connect 300, which put him two spots behind Rookie contender Erik Jones.

We thought both freshmen would be a good value and that turned out to be true. This was a sweep of the top 10 for Suarez and his third straight such finish on the track type. Suarez will be an early favorite at Phoenix International Raceway.
