Clint Bowyer will carry the 5-hour ENERGY logos for 24 races in 2014. PEAK Antifreeze & Motor Oil logos will adorn the No. 15 Toyota at the Auto Club Speedway, Talladega and Chicagoland. AAA Mid-Atlantic will sponsor him at Richmond and Martinsville. Cable provider Charter will sponsor in the NASCAR Sprint Showdown at Charlotte. Justin Allgaier (No. 7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevrolet Camaro) had the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the XFINITY Series final practice for the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY.

The average speed of 179.091 mph was best of the 13 cars that ran at least 10 consecutive laps on the track for this final practice session. No. 33 Brandon Jones, No. 48 Brennan Poole, No. 19 Matt Tifft and No. 42 Tyler Reddick round out the rest of the top-five on this list.

Ryan Preece (No. 20 Hurricane Relief Toyota) tops the speed chart in the Final Practice session for the XFINITY Series VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour regular (and current points leader) ran a fast lap of 181.629 mph. No. 7 Justin Allgaier, No. 23 Spencer Gallagher Jr., No. 42 Tyler Reddick and No. 21 Daniel Hemric round out the top-five of the 38 cars out on the track. The No. 74 Dodge, driven by Mike Harmon, was the slowest in the final practice session

Sheldon Creed has been picture-perfect so far at Kentucky Speedway. After putting up the fastest lap in the open test Wednesday, the Alpine, Calif. driver was fastest in practice earlier today. Creed, in the No 28 United Rentals-MDM Motorsports Toyota, answered his fast practice run with his career-first General Tire pole Friday afternoon.

Creed circled the 1.5-mile track in 29.301 seconds (184.294 mph), very near the one-lap track record of 29.261 set by Chase Briscoe in 2016. Since the track was resurfaced in October 2016, General Tire brought a harder compound to accommodate the new pavement. Creed's MDM teammate Zane Smith will join him on the front row in the second starting position for tonight's Crosley Brands 150.

Erik Jones is the only driver in the top 12 in qualification for the ISM Connect 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway who is not in playoff contention. His lap of 133.971 was good enough for eighth on the grid.

Jones qualified sixth this summer for the Overton's 301, but he ran into trouble and finished 39th. If he stays out of trouble this week, he should easily score a top-10.

With a lap of 135.049 mph, Kyle Busch won the pole for Sunday’s ISM Connect 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Busch was penalized for a pit infraction last week and that contributed to a modest finish at Chicagoland Speedway. He is still in a great points’ position and should easily advance to round two, but he wants to show dominant speed.

Matt Tifft (No. 19 VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 Toyota) led the first practice session for the XFINITY Series VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY.

The lap of 180.427 mph was the best of the 36 cars completing laps in this session. Matt Tifft (No. 19 VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 Toyota made up the rest of the top-five on the speed chart. The No. 74 Dodge, driven by Mike Harmon, was the slowest.

Christopher Bell (No. 4 SiriusXM Toyota Tundra) led the final NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice session for the UNOH 175 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH.

He ran a quick lap of 132.877 mph in this session. No. 27 Ben Rhodes, No. 51 Todd Gilliland, No. 88 Matt Crafton and No. 18 Noah Gragson round out the top-five of the 27 trucks practicing in this session. Mike Senica in the No. 57 Chevrolet Silverado was the slowest. Bell also had the fastest 10-lap average speed (130.153 mph) among the eight trucks that ran at least 10 consecutive laps on the track for this final session.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver Ryan Newman scored his sixth career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour pole on Friday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Behind the wheel of the No. 77 Menards/Curb Records Chevrolet, Newman posted a time of 28.952 seconds (131.556 mph) around the 1.058-mile oval. All six of Newman's career poles in the series have come at the 'Magic Mile' and he has already visited Victory Lane there twice. He will look for a third win there Saturday, before competing in the NASCAR Playoffs on Sunday. Behind Newman, Rowan Pennink qualified second in his No. 3 Cape Cod Cooper/JDL Environmental Chevrolet for Boelher Racing. Pennink posted a quick time of 29.047 seconds (131.125 mph) as he seeks his first career New Hampshire victory.

MDM Motorsports was 1-2 on the board in ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards practice Friday afternoon at Kentucky Speedway in preparation for General Tire Pole Qualifying coming next.

Sheldon Creed, in the No. 28 United Rentals Toyota, led the way with a top mark of 29.449 seconds (183.368 mph). He was also fastest in the open test here Wednesday. His MDM teammate Zane Smith was right behind at 29.476 seconds, a difference of .027 seconds. Chase Purdy, in the No. 88 BAMA Buggies-Mason Mitchell Motorsports Chevrolet, was third on the chart at 29.938 (180.373 mph). Ty Majeski, in the No. 99 Treeo's-Cunningham Motorsports Ford, spent much of the practice session atop the field before some late-practice mock-qualifying runs bumped him back to fourth.

His average speed of 129.345 mph was best of the three trucks that ran at least 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 98 Grant Enfinger (128.031 mph) and No. 51 Todd Gilliland (127.275 mph) are the others on this list.

He ran a quick lap of 131.492 mph. No. 51 Todd Gilliland, No. 24 Justin Haley, No. 88 Matt Crafton and No. 4 Christopher Bell round out the top-five of the 22 trucks completing laps in this session. Wendell Chavous in the No. 49 Chevrolet Silverado was the slowest.
