Denny Hamlin leads the Wednesday late afternoon fourth practice for the Sprint Cup Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.

He ran a fast lap of 199.574 mph in the No. 11 Toyota Camry. No. 5 Kasey Kahne, No. 66 Michael Waltrip, No. 17 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and No. 16 Greg Biffle rounded out the rest of the top five on the speed chart for this practice. Alex Bowman in the No. 23 was the slowest of the 40 cars out on the track. Hamlin also had a 10-lap average speed of 196.899 mph. This was the best of the 14 cars running at least 10 consecutive laps.

Chris Eggleston (No. 99 NAPA Filters Toyota) finished third in Saturday night's NASCAR K&N Pro Series-West (KNPSW) NAPA Auto Parts 150 at All American Speedway in Roseville, CA.

He started second in the lineup, led a 13 laps and completed all laps of the 150-lap race. Eggleston is currently second in the 2017 KNPSW championship standings after this event, 11 points behind leader Todd Gilliland (finished second in the Roseville race).
