Ben Rhodes (No. 27 Safelite Auto Glass Toyota Tundra) had the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in final NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice leading up to the M&M’S® 200 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA.

The average speed of 131.490 mph was best of the 12 trucks that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 16 Ryan Truex, No. 8 John Hunter Nemechek, No. 4 Christopher Bell and No. 18 Noah Gragson are the rest of the top-five on this list.

NASCAR XFINITY Series regular Brandon Jones (No. 33 Chevrolet Camaro), driving the No. 99 Soleus Air Chevrolet Silverado, led the final NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice session for the M&M’S® 200 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, IA.

He ran a quick lap of 135.251 mph in this session. No. 8 John Hunter Nemechek, No. 16 Ryan Truex, No. 27 Ben Rhodes, No. 21 Johnny Sauter and No. 33 Kaz Grala round out the top-five of the 27 trucks practicing in this session. J.J. Yeley in the No. 57 Chevrolet Silverado was the slowest.

Ritchie Industries returns as the primary sponsor for Ryan Sieg at both XFINITY races at Iowa Speedway. Ritchie Industries joined the team at Iowa Speedway last July where Sieg finished 15th.

He is currently 14th in the series standings following a solid 15th place finish last weekend in Michigan. "It’s great to have Ritchie Industries back with us again at Iowa Speedway. It’s their home turf so we want to put on a good show for them and all the great race fans in Iowa. We made some positive gains last weekend in Michigan and I’m hoping we can keep the momentum headed in the right direction this weekend," commented Sieg.-RSS

In Saturday night’s American Ethanol E15 250 at Iowa Speedway, David Starr (No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro), the Houston, TX native is set for his fourth start in the Hawkeye State.

B.J. McLeod (No. 8 ICE-FROST/@CouchCrewChief Chevrolet Camaro), a native of Wauchula, Fla. will make his fourth career start at Iowa Speedway in Saturday night’s American Ethanol E15 250.

Tommy Joe Martins (No. 78 Diamond Gusset Jeans Chevrolet camaro) will make his 16th career XFINITY Series start in Saturday night’s American Ethanol E15 250 at Iowa Speedway.

In his previous XFINITY runs, his best result is a 14th place result at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway in May 2014. This weekend at Iowa, Martins will make his second XFINITY Series start at the 0.75 paved oval in nearly three years. Although still a relative newcomer to NASCAR racing, Harrison Rhodes will sign in at Iowa Speedway this weekend as a veteran of sorts.

Rhodes has raced in four XFINITY Series events at the seven-eighths mile track. "I feel like I know the track pretty well," Rhodes said. "It’s short but fast. If you have a good car, you can cut some really good laps there." Rhodes will drive the 01 Chevrolet for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller in Saturday’s American Ethanol E15 250 at Iowa.-JDM

Garrett Smithley (No. 0 Chevrolet Camaro) will make his third XFINITY Series start at Iowa Speedway in Saturday’s American Ethanol E15 250.

The seven-eighths mile track usually hosts tight races for the XFINITY Series. "It’s a really fun racetrack," Smithley said. "It’s a great blend of a short track and a speed track. I’m sure we’ll have a good run there." Smithley sits 22nd in XFINITY driver points entering the race, the 14th of the season.-JD Motorsports

The XFINITY Series schedule stretches from coast to coast, but Ross Chastain always looks forward to the stops in the heartland at Iowa Speedway.

The Iowa track has been particularly good to the Florida driver over the years. In his last three appearances in an XFINITY car at Iowa, Chastain has finished 10th, 14th and 18th. He finished second in a Camping World Truck Series race at the track in 2013. "I circle the Iowa dates on the calendar every year," said Chastain, who will drive the Georgia Watermelon Association Chevrolet Saturday. "It’s been a great track for me. His average of 129.780 mph was best of the six trucks that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 4 Christopher Bell (129.733 mph), No. 98 Grant Enfinger (129.265), No. 33 Kaz Grala (127.998), No. 66 Trey Hutchens (126.261) and No. 36 Kevin Donahue (125.497) are the others on this list.
