Sprint Cup regular (No. 18 Toyota) Kyle Busch wins the Coors Light Pole Award for the 33rd Annual History 300 with a lap of 29.493 seconds, 183.094 mph.

This is the No. 54 Toyota Camry driver's record-extending 38th pole in 279 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. It is his second pole and seventh top-10 NNS start in 2014. Busch's first Charlotte pole came last October, for a race he won. This is his second pole in 22 NNS races at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

D.J. Kennington finishes 9th in Saturday night's NASCAR Canadian Tire Series race at Quebec's Autodrome St-Eustache.

He started the No. 17 Castrol Edge/Mahindra Tractors Dodge 7th on the grid for the National 250. He is currently 6th in the 2014 Canadian Tire Series championship standings after this event.

Brendan Gaughan and the South Point Hotel & Casino Chevrolet Camaro started the NASCAR Nationwide Series Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the 17th position.

With the threat of a mechanical issue early in the race, crew chief Shane Wilson took advantage of the first caution on lap 15 to bring him in to evaluate the situation. The No. 62 Camaro restarted 31st and Gaughan battled to overcome the early issues throughout the day, working his way up to 14th on lap 46. He finished his day at the Brickyard in 19th-place. He is currently eighth in the driver point standings as the series heads to Iowa Speedway next weekend.-Richard Childress Racing

Greg Pursley finishes 4th in Saturday night's NASCAR K&N Pro Series-West race at Colorado National Speedway in Dacono, CO.

He started the No. 26 GPM/Star Nursery/ Real Water Ford 4th on the grid for the NAPA Auto Parts/Toyota 150. Pursley led 15 laps in the race. He continues to be the leader in the 2014 NASCAR K&N Pro Series-West point standings after this event.

He started the No. 5 Empire Mechanical Chevrolet 6th on the grid for the National 250. Dowler ran the entire race in the top 10. He is currently 7th in the 2014 Canadian Tire Series championship standings after this event.

Brian Scott and the No. 2 Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff Chevrolet Camaro qualified for the Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the 10th position.

Scott battled inside the top-10 for the majority of the 100-lap event at the historic track. On the final restart of the event, Scott was scored in the 11th position and gained four positions when he took the checkered flag finishing seventh. His finish secured his position in the final Nationwide Insurance Dash 4 Cash program at Iowa Speedway next week.-Richard Childress Racing

He started the No. 25 Canada's Best Store Fixtures Dodge 8th on the grid for the National 250. On Lap 39, McColm got into the wall exiting Turn 4, sustained right rear and left front damage and was done for the night. McColm is currently 8th in the 2014 Canadian Tire Series championship standings after this event.

Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) left the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and flew directly to the road course in Watkins Glen, New York for a two-day test session for Marcos Ambrose and Aric Almirola beginning today, July 28th.

The goal of the test will be to collect information to help give Ambrose and Almirola the best setup possible before returning in two weeks for the race. If Ambrose can win the event, it will help secure him and Almirola into the championship run at the end of the season. RPM heads to this test this week with Almirola nearly locked into The Chase and giving Ambrose its full efforts to secure his spot too.-Breaking Limits
