Justin Lofton wins the Keystone Light Pole Award for the 18th Annual WinStar World Casino 400 with a lap of 30.054 seconds, 179.677 mph.

This is the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado driver's second pole in 82 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races. The first came at Chicagoland Speedway on July 21, 2012. He started first at Texas Motor Speedway in 2012, however the lineup was set per the rule book. This is his first top-10 start in 2014.

Ty Dillon (No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro) is the top rookie qualifier for the Nationwide Series Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The lap of 178.402 mph was third fastest, ahead of the rest of the 2014 Rookie of the Year contenders qualifying for the race. This is Dillon’s 11th top-10 start of 2014.

Sprint Cup regular (No. 18 Toyota Camry) Kyle Busch wins the Coors Light Pole Award for the 3rd Annual Lilly Diabetes 250 with a track record setting lap of 50.031 seconds, 179.888 mph.

This is the No. 54 Toyota driver's 40th pole in 285 NNS races. This is his fourth pole and 13th top-10 NNS start in 2014 and his second pole in three NNS races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

D.J. Kennington (No. 17 Dodge) leads the first practice for the Canadian Tire Series National 250 at Autodrome St-Eustache (Quebec).

His 82.664 mph lap was the quickest of the 17 cars out on the track for the first practice session. No. 84 J.R. Fitzpatrick, No. 22 Scott Steckly, No. 5 Noel Dowler and No. 18 Alex Tagliani are the rest of the top five on the speed chart. No. 56 Matthew Scannell was the slowest.

Justin Boston started the No. 25 Toyota 6th in the lineup for Friday night's SCOTT Get Geared Up 200 at Lucas Oil Raceway.

He took the lead on Lap 118, stayed there for 40 laps and was out front with a six second lead when Bobby Gerhart spun in turn two. Boston said he didn’t know the caution came out and, by the time he found out, he had locked up the brakes and hit Gerhart. Both cars drove away, but the damage was enough to ruin Boston’s night. He still managed an 8th place finish in what could have been a victory.

Juan Pablo Montoya posted the fastest speed in final practice for the Crown Royal 400 among drivers not running full time in NASCAR Cup competition. His top speed was 187.688 mph, which placed him sixth on the chart.

As a part time driver, Montoya is cheap in salary cap games and a solid choice in Yahoo!’s Group C. His speed was only 25/100th of a second better than Trevor Bayne in the No. 21 Wood Bros ride, however, and the battle for part time supremacy should come down to these two drivers.

Kyle Larson posted the fastest single lap among the rookie class in final practice for the Crown Royal 400 on Saturday. His top speed was 187.013 mph, which placed him eighth on that grid.

Larson was one of this week’s dark horse choices to win his first race at Indy and he has not done anything to cause fantasy owners to rethink that position. Even if he fails to find Victory Lane, he will be a good value if he can achieve a top-10 finish.
