The average speed of 197.073 mph was best of the 12 cars that ran 10 consecutive laps on the track for this final practice session. No. 24 Jeff Gordon, No. 15 Clint Bowyer, No. 88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. and No. 42 Kyle Larson are the rest of the top five on this list.

Bubba Wallace (#6 LoudMouth Exhaust Ford Mustang) Wallace will make his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

In two previous starts at the 1.5-mile oval, he has two top-10s with a best finish of fifth in May 2015. He also previously made two starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) at Charlotte. This weekend in Charlotte marks the 50th career start for Wallace in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. In 49 previous starts, he has recorded a best finish of second at Dover in May 2016. Having 12 NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) career starts at the 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway quad-oval, J.J. Yeley has earned one Top-5, one Top-10, led three laps and completed a total of 1885 laps.

Tyler Dippel (#38 Chevrolet) will be making his debut at Dominion Raceway (Thornburg, VA) this weekend in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East ComServe Wireless 150.

Dippel enters this weekend's race as a newly selected 2016 NASCAR Next driver. The dirt car standout has certainly made his mark on the NASCAR world. Winning in only his second start, at a track similar to Dominion Raceway, Dippel has the No. 38 EastWest Marine/TyCar team excited to get back to the track. Hunter Baize (#13 Chevrolet) will be making his debut at Dominion Raceway (Thornburg, VA) this weekend in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East ComServe Wireless 150.

Baize enters race six of the NKNPSE season coming off his best finish of the year in his road course debut at VIR. His sixth-place effort has propelled him into the top 10 in the series point standings for the first time this season. Much of his racing career thus far has been spent racing on tracks similar to Dominion Raceway in the Midwest, most recently with the ARCA/CRA Super Series. Harrison Burton (#12 Chevrolet) will be making his debut at Dominion Raceway (Thornburg, VA) this weekend in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East ComServe Wireless 150.

Burton makes the trip to Thornburg following an exciting few weeks. The 15-year-old Huntersville, NC, driver was selected as a 2016 NASCAR Next member. Following a solid road course debut in the No. 12 Dex Imaging/Konica Minolta Toyota Camry at VIR, Burton looks to continue his recent upswing this weekend at Dominion Raceway.-HSMJM

Justin Haley (#5 Chevrolet) will be making his debut at Dominion Raceway (Thornburg, VA) this weekend in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East ComServe Wireless 150.

Haley has yet to finish outside of the top 10 in the 2016 NKNPSE season. He has spent time on tracks very similar to Dominion while driving late models. The Indiana native will look to take over sole possession of the NKNPSE points lead this weekend at Dominion Raceway.-HSMJM

Ryan Reed (#16 Lilly Diabetes/American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang) has competed at Charlotte Motor Speedway five times in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, never finishing outside of the top 15.

Dalton Sargeant (#55 Toyota Racing Development Camry) made his ARCA Racing Series debut less than a month ago with Venturini Motorsports and has already claimed two top-3 and three top-10 finishes during his first-ever series attempts.

After starting his season with impressive results, Sargeant now shifts focus to this weekend’s Twilight 150 presented by Unique Pretzels at New Jersey Motorsports Park’s Thunderbolt Raceway - a 2.3 mile-paved road course. Jeb Burton (#43 Rocky Ridge Trucks Ford Mustang) has raced in all three NASCAR series at Charlotte Motor Speedway in his career.

He started from the pole in the Camping World Truck Series and has one Top-10 and three Top-15 finishes in three starts. He also competed for Biagi DenBeste Racing in the XFINITY Series in 2014, finishing 15th. Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) has secured a multi-year partnership extension with primary partner the Fastenal Company that will continue Fastenal’s position as the anchor partner of the No. 17 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team and driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

As part of the extension, Fastenal will also increase the number of its primary races in 2017 and beyond. Fastenal is currently in its fifth season as a primary partner in Roush Fenway’s Sprint Cup stable, and its second full season as the anchor partner on Stenhouse’s No. 17 Ford Fusion.-RFR
