Kyle Busch was one of five drivers who’s team was issued a warning at Bristol. The No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing team received its fourth warning at Bristol and as a result will lose its pit stall selection.

Busch was cited for failing the Laser Inspection Station twice at Bristol, according to NBC Sports. Selection is less important on a wide, long pit like Michigan International Speedway has, but this hurts their handicap slightly.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. will miss the next two NASCAR Sprint Cup races, at least. Alex Bowman will substitute at Michigan International Speedway. Jeff Gordon will climb back behind the wheel at Darlington Raceway.

Providing updates in two-week increments makes it difficult to set one’s fantasy roster, but owners should plan on Earnhardt to be out of the car for some time. If he returns, it will likely take a few weeks for him to get comfortable behind the wheel once more. If Junior returns for Richmond and is still in the top 30 in points, he will have one, last-ditch effort to get into the Chase.

Road America will be Black’s third road course race in the past four weeks and fourth road course race overall. As with Watkins Glen and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, he is doing all he can to prepare for the race before even arriving to the track. Black said. "I’ve been watching old races there and running it on my simulator a lot. I want to know the course well before that first practice so that I don’t have to spend time learning it and can just focus on the car and what we can do to get it to where it needs to be for the race."-Zerolight Communications
