Frank Kimmel finishes 3rd in Friday night's ARCA Racing Series race at Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, Indiana.

He started the No. 44 Ansell-Menards Toyota 10th on the grid for the SCOTT Get Geared Up 200 presented by Federated Car Care. Kimmel, who was working with crew chief Mark Rette for the first time, scored his best finish since Salem in April.

Justin Allgaier (No. 7 Breyers Chevrolet Camaro) tops the speed chart in the Final Practice session for the XFINITY Series Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

He ran a fast lap of 166.485 mph. No. 19 Matt Tifft, No. 18 Kyle Busch, No. 1 Elliott Sadler and No. 9 William Byron round out the top-five of the 49 cars out on the track. The No. 74 Dodge, driven by Mike Harmon, was the slowest in the final practice session. Allgaier also had a 10-lap average speed of 165.150 mph. This was the best of the 10 cars running at least 10 consecutive laps in this session.

Elliott Sadler (No. 1 OneMain Financial Chevrolet Camaro) led the first practice session for the XFINITY Series Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The lap of 166.420 mph was the best of the 37 cars completing laps in this session. No. 7 Justin Allgaier, No. 18 Kyle Busch, No. 20 Erik Jones and No. 2 Paul Menard made up the rest of the top-five on the speed chart. The No. 74 Dodge, driven by Mike Harmon, was the slowest.

Christian Eckes (No. 15 New York Bus Sales Toyota) led the lone practice for tonight's ARCA Racing Series Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 at Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, IN.

The lap of 109.624 mph was the quickest of the 29 cars out on the track for this practice session. No. 99 Austin Cindric, No. 18 Riley Herbst, No. 52 Austin Theriault and No. 28 Michael Self are the rest of the top-five on the speed chart. Con Nicolopoulos, in the Wayne Peterson Racing No. 0 Dodge, was the slowest.

Brendan Gaughan (No. 62 South Point Hotel & Casino Chevrolet) has three previous NASCAR XFINITY Series starts at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with his highest finish of 13th coming in 2015.

Gaughan has an average starting spot of 12.3 and finishing position of 16.0 at the 'Brickyard.' The driver of the No. 62 Chevrolet also has one previous Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series start at the 2.5-mile track.-Richard Childress Racing

Huntington Beach, California’s Zane Smith has never raced at Lucas Oil Raceway LOR), but after a successful test last weekend, he's got a good feeling about the place. Must be because it reminds him of home.

"Lucas Oil reminds me a lot of my home track (Irwindale) out in California," said Smith. "It’s cool to go to a new place and feel at home. I like our chances this week. I think we’ve got a really good shot." Smith will be making his ninth ARCA Racing Series season start for Venturini Motorsports in Friday’s Sioux Chief PowerPex 200 at LOR, just outside of Indianapolis. Despite missing not competing at Daytona and Talladega -- he wasn't old enough yet -- Smith is still seventh in championship standings with three top-5 and six top-10 finishes.

Johnny Sauter (No. 21 Allegiant Airlines Chevrolet Silverado) finished 23rd in Wednesday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway in New Weston, OH.

He started 14th in the lineup and completed 143 laps of the 150-lap race. Sauter continues as the points leader in the 2017 NCWTS championship standings, leading Christopher Bell (finished ninth in the Eldora race) by seven points.

Christopher Bell (No. 4 Toyota Tundra) finished ninth in Wednesday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway in New Weston, OH.

He started fourth in the lineup, led 22 laps and completed all laps of the 150-lap race. Bell is currently second in the 2017 NCWTS Championship point standings after this event, seven points behind leader Johnny Sauter (finished 23rd in the race).

Grant Enfinger (No. 98 Champion Power Equipment/Curb Records Toyota Tundra) finished fourth in Wednesday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway in New Weston, OH.

He started 11th in the lineup and completed all laps of the 150-lap race. Enfinger, who competed in all 11 truck races so far this season, gained one spot to fifth in the 2017 NCWTS Championship point standings after this event.

Bret Holmes is well aware that several of his competitors tested at Lucas Oil Raceway for this Friday's Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200…but he's not too concerned, despite not being able to test.

In fact, the Munford, Ala. driver got in plenty last year at the famous short track in Indianapolis, finishing sixth in the ARCA race. And, he's bringing back his secret weapon for this year's race. Without the opportunity to test, Holmes is going off last year's notes.
