Carl Edwards has been a solid contender on flat tracks this year. He finished in the top 10 at Phoenix and Richmond, as well as among the top 15 at Martinsville, New Hampshire, and Indy.
Michael McDowell finished 15th in the Daytona 500, which made him one of the better fantasy values this spring. In the Geico 500 at Talladega SuperSpeedway, he barely missed sweeping the top 20 with a result of 21st.
Kyle Busch is the only driver to finish in the top five in both plate races this season. He was third in the Daytona 500 and second in the Geico 500 at Talladega SuperSpeedway.
Ryan Blaney has a pair of top-10s on the restrictor-plate Talladega SuperSpeedway, but on the sister Daytona International Speedway he is still seeking his first top-15.
Landon Cassill is batting 0.500 in his last four starts on restrictor-plate, superspeedways in regard to top-15s. He finished 11th this May at Talladega SuperSpeedway and was 13th in last year’s edition of the Coke Zero 400.
Bobby Labonte inherited the No. 32 ride on restrictor-plate, superspeedways from his brother Terry and he has done fairly well in it. In six previous starts in that car his best result was a 19th this May on Talladega SuperSpeedway. The Coke Zero 400 will mark his lucky seventh start for Frank Stoddard.
Alex Tagliani (No. 18 EpiPen/Riobel/Complexe JCP/Juste du Chevrolet) has three wins, six poles and 12 top 10s in 36 career NASCAR Pinty's Series starts.
Andrew Ranger (No. 27 Mopar/Pennzoil Dodge) the 2007 and 2009 NASCAR Pinty's Series champion and after his season opening win at CTMP holds the record for all-time wins with 20 and tied for first in poles (17).
Cayden Lapcevich (No. 76 Fastline Motorsports Dodge) has made nine career starts in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series and recorded his career-best second-place finish twice in the past two races at Sunset Speedway on June 18th and last Friday at Chaudiere.
Kevin Lacroix (No. 74 Bumper To Bumper/Total/Go Fast Dodge) recorded two wins in seven starts during his debut season in 2015.
Alex Labbe (No. 32 Can-Am/Kappa/Cyclops Gear Dodge) has one win (Chaudiere – 2016) four poles, six top fives and 10 top 10s in 18 career starts.
D.J. Kennington (No. 17 Castrol Edge Dodge) the 2010 and 2012 NASCAR Pinty's Series champion, is tied for second in all-time NPS career wins (19), top fives (74) and top 10s (93), and is one of two drivers to start each of the 112 all-time events.
