Joey Logano has one top-10 in his last four road course attempts. He scored three consecutive top-10s immediately preceding that period and is a provisionally good value depending on which game a fantasy owner is playing.

Avoid Logano in games that have maximum allocations for a driver because this will not be one of his best runs of the season. Save the Penske Racing Ford for unrestricted, intermediate speedways.

For the second straight week, Tony Stewart will line up among the top five on one of NASCAR’s flat tracks. He qualified fifth for the Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway.

Last week he failed to make good on the promise of a fourth-place start when he finished 28th at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Often teams experience success in qualification before they turn their fortune around in race trim. This could be the first signs that Stewart is improving the program at the No. 14.

Austin Dillon could be shaping up as the top dark horse candidate for the Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway. He advanced to the final round of qualification and posted the fourth-fastest time in that session.

Dillon is not an automatic pick, however, because he started sixth this June in the Axalta We Paint Winners 400 before fading to 19th. Watch him closely in practice and only start the No. 3 if he posts one of the top-five, 10-lap averages in either Saturday session.

Joey Logano is looking to keep his momentum alive at Pocono and he is off to a fast start. He posted the third fastest time in the final round of qualification and will line up on the inside of the second row for the Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway.

Logano earned back-to-back top-fives in the latest two races on this track and he did so after starting second last August and 11th this June. He also had a win from the pole in 2012 and should be considered a favorite to finish top-five again unless he falters in Saturday’s practice.

Kevin Harvick earned the outside pole for the Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway and will line up alongside Kyle Busch. This is Harvick’s career-best starting position on this track.

Just as Harvick has not yet won a Pocono pole, he has no wins there either. He came close in his last two starts, however, with a pair of runner-up results after starting on the third row in the last two races on the tricky triangle.

Kimmel, driver of the No. 25 Ansell-Menards Toyota, will start on the front row of Saturday’s ModSpace 125 with his 43rd career pole award, tying the legendary Iggy Katona atop the ARCA Racing Series pole records.-ARCA Racing

Brandon McReynolds earned his first career NASCAR K&N Pro Series West win at Iowa on May 17th.

He added another accolade Friday night when he captured the Coors Light Pole Award for the Thanks Kenny 150 (the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East-West combined event). The third out of 38 cars in qualifying, McReynolds set a time of 23.971 seconds (131.475 mph) to pace the field. Rico Abreu was the fastest K&N Pro Series East qualifier with a fast lap of 24.002 (131.239 mph) to earn the third overall starting position.

Kyle Busch posted a speed of 178.416 mph to win the pole for the Windows 10 400 at Pocono Raceway. That is his first pole since last fall’s Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He finished fifth in that race.

Busch is seeking an incredible fifth win in the past five races. His last three victories all came after he started among the top 10 and no one wants to bet against him this week.
