Became the youngest champion in NASCAR touring series history at 16 years, five months, and joined his grandfather Butch Gilliland as a K&N West champion (1997). Won three of the first four K&N Pro Series West races this season, including a sweep of Twin 100s at Irwindale on March 25, to give him 11 career K&N Pro Series wins. Sits third in the current K&N East standings with one top five and two top 10s through two races. Finished ninth in his only series career start at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway.

Larson’s team made a change that they described as minor, but the car apparently did not like it. He did not make any contact with the wall.

Eric Goodale (No. 58 GAF Roofing Chevrolet) finished 16th in Wednesday night's NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) Bush's Beans 150 at Bristol (TN) Motor Speedway.

He started fifth in the lineup and completed 197 laps of the 150-lap race. Goodale competed in all of the 10 NWMT races so far this season and is currently sixth in the 2017 championship standings after this event.

Justin Allgaier (No. 7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture Chevrolet Camaro) had the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the XFINITY Series final practice for the Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The average speed of 122.516 mph was best of the 23 cars that ran at least 10 consecutive laps on the track for this final practice session. No. 3 Ty Dillon, No. 42 Tyler Reddick, No. 11 Blake Koch and No. 20 Daniel Suarez are the rest of the top-five on this list.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regular Kyle Busch (No. 18 NOS Rowdy Toyota) tops the speed chart in the Final Practice session for the XFINITY Series Food City 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

He ran a fast lap of 124.315 mph. No. 22 Joey Logano, No. 48 Brennan Poole, No. 9 William Byron and No. 7 Justin Allgaier round out the top-five of the 42 cars out on the track. The No. 78 Camaro, driven by Tommy Joe Martins, was the slowest in the final practice session.
