Finished second this season in the final K&N Pro Series East standings. Won the pole and finished eighth last season at California's All American Speedway in his only K&N Pro Series West career start at the track.

Denny Hamlin is still angry at Sunday’s comments made by Darrell Wallace Jr. suggesting he needed medication to help with attention deficit disorder.

Wallace made the comments during the post-race interview after the Daytona 500. In the run to the checkers, Wallace aggressively side drafted Hamlin, which the driver of the No. 11 says cut his tire. Hamlin’s car drove Wallace up to the wall, but the rookie managed to finish second by an inch or two. Hamlin’s budding rivalry with first-year Wallace comes on the heels of his run-in with then second-year Chase Elliott last fall.

Driver Marc-Antoine Camirand, who will compete full-time in the NASCAR Pinty’s series in 2018, is excited to be at the wheel of the new No. 22 Camaro.

While the Camaro made an astonishing come back in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup, winning the 2018 Daytona 500 with Richard Childress Racing No. 3 car driven by Austin Dillon, it will be on track in the NASCAR Pinty’s series in May, for the season opener at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, in Bowmanville, ON.

Dylan Lupton (No. 28 thinQ Technology Partners Ford Mustang) will be making his first start at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend.

He has made four NASCAR XFINITY Series starts on 1.5-mile tracks (Kentucky Speedway, Kansas Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway and Chicagoland Speedway). The 24-year-old’s best finish on an intermediate track is 16th at Kansas Speedway. Lupton has two 1.5-mile track starts for JGL Racing (Kansas and Texas) JGL Racing has eight previous starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway, with a best finish of 16th (J.J. Chase Briscoe (No. 60 Ford Mustang) has one prior start at Atlanta Motor Speedway, which came one year ago in the Truck Series. He qualified fourth and was having a solid run until a tire blew. Briscoe settled for a 25th-place finish.

Atlanta will be the first of 12 races for Briscoe in the No. 60 Ford Mustang for 2018. Briscoe on Atlanta: "I am super excited for Atlanta this weekend, it is one of my favorite tracks. It plays into a dirt guys background, the sliding around and how the tires fall off. Last week, Kaz Grala (No. 24 Ford) scored a fourth-place finish in his NASCAR XFINITY Series debut at Daytona International Speedway.

Grala has one start at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, where he earned a top-15 finish. In nine starts at 1.5-mile tracks in the Truck Series, Grala earned five top 10s and one top five, recording a best finish of fifth (Las Vegas Motor Speedway). The 19-year-old will begin attending Georgia Tech in the spring of 2019 as a mechanical engineering major. This weekend, Grala is sponsored by Marlow’s Tavern, a modern American fare tavern with locations in Georgia and Florida.-JGL Racing

David Ragan’s 400th start in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series couldn’t come at a better place. The Unadilla, Ga., native will celebrate the career milestone on Feb. 25 at his home track of Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Some special friends are joining in the celebration, including the Georgia General Assembly. Ragan and track president Ed Clark will attend a ceremony on Thursday morning at the Capitol in Atlanta, where the legislature will issue a proclamation honoring Ragan’s achievement. Local partner Fr8Auctions will also get into the celebration, marking Ragan’s milestone with a commemorative logo on the decklid of the No. 38 Ford.
