Denny Hamlin posted the second fastest lap in the final round of practice for the Can Am 500 at Phoenix International Raceway and will lineup alongside Ryan Blaney.

Hamlin has more experience at Phoenix than Blaney and will probably lead more laps in the first segment. Hamlin and Blaney are very close in points and this will be a battle at the front, which should bode well for both of their handicap.

Tyler Ankrum (No. 17 Toyota) was at the top of the speed chart in the final practice leading to Saturday night's NASCAR K&N Pro Series East United Site Services 70 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH.

He put up a 129.393 mph lap in the final practice.No. 40 Anthony Alfredo, No. 12 Harrison Burton, No. 30 Tristan Van Wieringen and No. 16 Derek Kraus are the rest of the top five and No. 55 Abraham Calderon was the slowest of the 20 cars completing laps in this final session.

It took only one lap for Kurt Busch to win the pole for the Foxwoods Resorts Casino 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His fastest lap was 133.591 mph.

This is Busch's first pole at New Hampshire, but he has started on the front row twice before - most recently in 2013. He finished 31st in that race and was 21st after starting second in 2007.

Brandon McReynolds (No. 74 Chevrolet) led the first practice for Saturday night's NASCAR K&N Pro Series East United Site Services 70 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH.

A lap of 128.053 mph was the quickest of the 20 cars out on the track for the first practice session. No. 16 Derek Kraus, No. 54 Tyler Dippel, No. 17 Tyler Ankrum and No. 12 Harrison Burton are the rest of the top five on the speed chart. Abraham Calderon, in the No. 55 Toyota, was the slowest.

Christopher Bell (No. 20 Toyota) had the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the XFINITY Series final practice for Saturday's Lakes Region 200.

The average speed of 127.356 mph was best of the 16 cars that ran at least 10 consecutive laps on the track for this final practice session. No. 42 John Hunter Nemechek, No. 21 Daniel Hemric, No. 18 Ryan Preece and No. 00 Cole Custer make up the rest of the top-five on this list.

Ryan Truex (No. 11 Chevrolet) tops the speed chart in the Final Practice session for the XFINITY Series Lakes Region 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

He ran a fast lap of 128.898 mph. No. 22 Brad Keselowski, No. 20 Christopher Bell, No. 7 Justin Allgaier and No. 3 Austin Dillon round out the top-five of the 39 cars out on the track. The No. 8 Chevrolet, driven by Angela Ruch, was the slowest in the final practice session.

Justin Bonsignore found his way to the front once again on Friday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The Holtsville, New York, driver took the lead on lap 24 of the 35-lap All Star Shootout, and went on to capture the checkered flag in the non-points NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at the 1.058-mile oval. His victory marks the fifth different driver to win the exhibition event in its five-year history.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regular Brad Keselowski (No. 2 Ford), driving the No. 22 Ford Mustang, led the first practice session for the XFINITY Series Lakes Region 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

A lap of 128.040 mph was the best of the 33 cars completing laps in this session. No. 00 Cole Custer, No. 18 Ryan Preece, No. 42 John Hunter Nemechek and No. 2 Matt Tifft made up the rest of the top-five on the speed chart. The No. 8 Chevrolet, driven by Angela Ruch, was the slowest. Keselowski also had a 10-lap average speed of 127.345 mph. This was the best of the nine cars running at least 10 consecutive laps in this session.

Kyle Larson had the second-fasted lap in the first practice session for the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire International Speedway with a speed of 133.788 mph.

Larson was significantly slower than Kyle Busch, but with a little adjustment, he might be able to close the gap in qualification. Last fall, Larson started second in the ISM Connect 300 before finishing second. In this race last year, he started 39th and still finished second, however.

Kyle Busch posted the fastest single lap in the first practice session for the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 at New Hampshire International Speedway with a speed of 134.292 mph.

Busch was more than a tenth of a second faster than second-place Kyle Larson. That gives him a significant advantage over the field and makes him a favorite to win the pole this evening.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regular Ryan Newman is making his annual appearance in the modifieds this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and he is off to a fast start driving the No. 77 Curb Records Chevrolet.

He was fastest (132.692 mph) in the only practice session on Friday morning. The session allowed teams to tune on their cars for both Friday’s All Star Shootout and Saturday’s Eastern Propane & Oil 100 all at once. In 18 prior starts in modified action at New Hampshire, Newman has two wins, but the most recent of them came in 2010. He has finished inside the top-10 in more than half of his modified starts at the ‘Magic Mile’.

Johnny Sauter (No. 21 Chevrolet Silverado) finished 16th in Wednesday night's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway in New Weston, Ohio.

He started 29th in the lineup and completed all laps of the 153-lap race. Sauter continues as the points leader in the 2018 NCWTS championship standings, leading Noah Gragson (finished sixth in the Eldora Dirt Derby) by 32 points after this event.
