This weekend, Scott Lagasse Jr. will be behind the wheel of the No. 3 Fight Colorectal Cancer/Screen Your Machine Chevrolet for the XFINITY Series' season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Lagasse has two previous starts at Homestead-Miami Speedway in the NASCAR XFINITY Series in 2008 and 2012, his best finish of 20th in his most recent start. He has also competed in two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races there, his best finish of 15th coming in 2015.-Richard Childress Racing

Erik Jones posted the quickest average speed with a 183.405 mph average over 23 laps.

Jones qualified sixth, which means he is close enough to the front of the pack to use his average speed to his advantage.

Aric Almirola posted the fastest speed in the first practice session for the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Almirola's speed of 186.683 mph was set early in the session when the track was its coolest. He rolls off the grid third and can concentrate on getting a strong result since he won last week at Talladega.

Jamie McMurray experienced engine problems in the first practice session for the Hollywood Casino 400.

McMurray had a similar issue at Darlington when the an oil line came loose. He caught the problem early and might not need to make an engine change.

Sheldon Creed put a period on his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards championship season with a comeback win in Friday's ARCA Kansas 150 at Kansas Speedway.

Creed (No. 28 Toyota) was leading on lap 46 when he was involved in an incident with a lapped car on lap 46. His car was damaged, but quick work by crew chief Jeff Stankiewicz kept him on the lead lap and in contention. Creed took the lead from defending race winner Michael Self (No. 15 Toyota) on a lap 86 restart, and held off Harrison Burton (No. 12 Toyota) after a final restart with a handful of laps remaining.

Brad Keselowski qualified fifth for the Hollywood Casino 400, which is his 10th top-10 effort in the last 11 races.

After his previous nine top 10 starts, Keselowski has finished in the top 10 only four times in those races, so his fifth-place start is not necessarily a good omen.

Kevin Harvick was .069 seconds slower than Joey Logano and will line up on the outside of the front row at Kansas Speedway for the Hollywood Casino 400.

Harvick won this spring after leading the field from the pole. He started second last fall in his race and finished eighth. During his career, Harvick has started on the front row six times and finish in the top 10 five times.

Aric Almirola posted a lap of 190.968 mph in the final round of qualification for the Hollywood Casino 400 and will line up third for Sunday's race.

Almirola also qualified third for the 2014 Hollywood Casino 400, but he fell seven laps off the pace to finish 31st.

Joey Logano posted a lap of 191.646 mph in Round 3 of qualification for the Hollywood Casino 400 and will lead the field to green on Sunday.

This is Logano's second pole of the season and first on an unrestricted track. His previous pole came at Talladega this spring before he finished fourth. The last two Kansas races have been won from the pole and Logano hopes to make it three.

Drew Herring (No. 19 NOS Energy/ORCA Coolers Toyota) will start from the pole in tonight's ARCA Racing Series ARCA Kansas 150 at Kansas Speedway.

Herring turned a fast lap of 29.828 seconds/181.038 miles per hour to take his first career General Tire Pole Award in his third career ARCA start. Sheldon Creed (No. 28 United Rentals Toyota) clinched the series championship when he made his first lap in practice this morning and will start alongside Herring on the front row. Creed's fast lap was 29.996 seconds/180.385 miles per hour. Harrison Burton (No. 12 DEX Imaging Toyota) will start third after turning a lap of 29.940/180.361.

Daniel Hemric (No. 21 Chevrolet) had the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the XFINITY Series final practice for Saturday's Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

The average speed of 177.296 mph was best of the 13 cars that ran at least 10 consecutive laps on the track for this final practice session. No. 22 Austin Cindric, No. 19 Brandon Jones, No. 00 Cole Custer and No. 18 Ryan Preece are the rest of the top-five on this list.

Justin Allgaier (No. 7 Chevrolet) had the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the first practice for Saturday's XFINITY Series Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

His average speed of 177.410 mph was best of the three cars that ran at least 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 3 Shane Lee (174.543 mph) and No. 26 Max Tullman (169.562 mph) are the other two on this list.
