UniFirst Corporation, a North American leader in providing customized work uniform programs, corporate attire, and facility service products, in partnership with 12-time NASCAR Cup Series champions Hendrick Motorsports, unveiled the all-new No. 24 UniFirst Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driven by 20-year-old phenom William Byron.

UniFirst will be the primary sponsor in three races in the upcoming 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season. The design features their signature green and white colors, along with the company's corporate logo. In 2017, Byron won the NASCAR XFINITY Series championship and was named the series' rookie of the year. The new No. 24 UniFirst Chevrolet will make its debut at Pocono Raceway on June 3. The next race for UniFirst will take place at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sept. 30 and the third will be at Kansas Speedway on Oct. 21.

Brad Keselowski qualified fifth for the Hollywood Casino 400, which is his 10th top-10 effort in the last 11 races.

After his previous nine top 10 starts, Keselowski has finished in the top 10 only four times in those races, so his fifth-place start is not necessarily a good omen.

Kevin Harvick was .069 seconds slower than Joey Logano and will line up on the outside of the front row at Kansas Speedway for the Hollywood Casino 400.

Harvick won this spring after leading the field from the pole. He started second last fall in his race and finished eighth. During his career, Harvick has started on the front row six times and finish in the top 10 five times.

Aric Almirola posted a lap of 190.968 mph in the final round of qualification for the Hollywood Casino 400 and will line up third for Sunday's race.

Almirola also qualified third for the 2014 Hollywood Casino 400, but he fell seven laps off the pace to finish 31st.

Joey Logano posted a lap of 191.646 mph in Round 3 of qualification for the Hollywood Casino 400 and will lead the field to green on Sunday.

This is Logano's second pole of the season and first on an unrestricted track. His previous pole came at Talladega this spring before he finished fourth. The last two Kansas races have been won from the pole and Logano hopes to make it three.

Drew Herring (No. 19 NOS Energy/ORCA Coolers Toyota) will start from the pole in tonight's ARCA Racing Series ARCA Kansas 150 at Kansas Speedway.

Herring turned a fast lap of 29.828 seconds/181.038 miles per hour to take his first career General Tire Pole Award in his third career ARCA start. Sheldon Creed (No. 28 United Rentals Toyota) clinched the series championship when he made his first lap in practice this morning and will start alongside Herring on the front row. Creed's fast lap was 29.996 seconds/180.385 miles per hour. Harrison Burton (No. 12 DEX Imaging Toyota) will start third after turning a lap of 29.940/180.361.

Daniel Hemric (No. 21 Chevrolet) had the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the XFINITY Series final practice for Saturday's Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

The average speed of 177.296 mph was best of the 13 cars that ran at least 10 consecutive laps on the track for this final practice session. No. 22 Austin Cindric, No. 19 Brandon Jones, No. 00 Cole Custer and No. 18 Ryan Preece are the rest of the top-five on this list.

Justin Allgaier (No. 7 Chevrolet) had the best 10-lap consecutive average speed in the first practice for Saturday's XFINITY Series Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

His average speed of 177.410 mph was best of the three cars that ran at least 10 consecutive laps on the track for this session. No. 3 Shane Lee (174.543 mph) and No. 26 Max Tullman (169.562 mph) are the other two on this list.

Daniel Hemric (No. 21 Chevrolet) led the first practice session for Saturday's XFINITY Series Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.

A lap of 179.916 mph was the best of the 39 cars completing laps in this session. No. 20 Christopher Bell, No. 9 Tyler Reddick, No. 3 Shane Lee and No. 22 Austin Cindric made up the rest of the top-five on the speed chart. The No. 45 Toyota, driven by Josh Bilicki, was the slowest.

Spencer Gallagher, the lively and charismatic staple driver for GMS Racing will retire from full-time NASCAR Xfinity Series competition following next month’s season-finale at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway.

The announcement was made on Friday afternoon prior to Xfinity Series practice at Kansas Speedway. Gallagher said he will move into a managerial role with the organization beginning with the 2019 season.

With 15 minutes remaining in the first practice session for the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, Kyle Larson got loose and tagged the wall hard. He will have to roll out a backup car.

Larson's odds to advance to Round 3 of the playoffs keep getting worse. He left Talladega 26 laps below the bubble, was hit with a 10-point penalty for violating the damaged vehicle policy and now will have to roll out a backup.

Sheldon Creed, driver of the MDM Motorsports No. 28 United Rentals Toyota, clinched the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards championship when he took to the track for practice at the season finale at Kansas Speedway.

His 2018 season has been consistently solid. He picked up his first career ARCA win at Michigan in June, and then followed it in short order with wins at Gateway and Iowa. By mid-summer he had established himself as the driver to beat for the championship, and he entered the final event of the season needing just to make a lap in practice to clinch the series championship.
