Amare Stoudemire (hand) will start Game 4 on Sunday, as the Knicks look to avoid a sweep on their home court.

It remains to be seen how much Amare can contribute with his hand swathed in bandages, and his presence won't matter if New York can't slow down Miami's offense. It will be interesting to see how the fans react -- his willingness to play through pain is commendable, but this is the second straight playoffs he's been needlessly injured (last year he hurt his back on a trick dunk during warmups).

Joel Embiid (knee) is doubtful for Tuesday's game vs. the Clippers and will not travel for Wednesday's game vs. the Bucks.

Jan 23 - 12:48 PM

Andre Iguodala will be rested on Monday vs. the Heat.

At least we got a good warning, as coach Steve Kerr hinted that this would happen on Sunday. The last time Iguodala missed a game on Dec. 10, Patrick McCaw played 21 minutes off the bench and Ian Clark saw 23 minutes. To be clear, there are no fantasy pickups here for standard-league owners.
Jan 23 - 12:37 PM

Ryan Anderson (illness) and Clint Capela are expected to start on Monday vs. the Bucks.

Anderson only lasted nine minutes on Friday vs. the Warriors and was held out of Saturday's game vs. Memphis, so he's a risky play tonight until we confirm that he's 100 percent -- A doctor told him a few days ago that his bug could limit him for 1-2 weeks. With Ryno expected back, Sam Dekker will take the biggest hit, but he should still be involved Monday.
Jan 23 - 12:28 PM

Tyler Johnson (shoulder) will not play on Monday vs. the Warriors.

He did not participate in the morning shootaround and will miss his second straight game. This is the same shoulder that he needed surgery on last season, but the Heat continue to downplay the injury and he's still listed as day-to-day. Johnson was able to lift weights on Sunday and he said he was optimistic about it, but the Heat have every reason to be cautious. Goran Dragic looks like a strong play Monday and Dion Waiters will see heavy minutes at both guard spots. Both players should be popular DFS targets.
Jan 23 - 11:43 AM

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (shoulder) is probable for Monday's game vs. the Kings.

He's expected to return from a four-game absence after making it though Sunday's practice. The Pistons only play twice in Week 14, so weekly owners may want to give him another week. For now, there's no word of any restrictions. With KCP expected back, Reggie Bullock and Stanley Johnson will lose most of their value. KCP is worth owning in all standard leagues as he posted averages of 14.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.2 triples prior to the injury.
Jan 23 - 11:37 AM

Blake Griffin (knee) will not play on Monday vs. the Hawks.

This means we will likely see him on Tuesday vs. the 76ers. Griffin would then have a few days to rest before Saturday's showdown with the Warriors. We will likely get another update during the post-game conference tonight, but Griffin's owners can expect to deploy him twice in Week 14 barring a surprise. Griffin "feels great" and he said he could play right now if it was up to him.

The Nets announced that Jeremy Lin will miss another 3-5 weeks after aggravating his strained left hamstring.

"During the course of his rehab, Jeremy re-aggravated his strained left hamstring and will be out approximately three to five weeks as he continues to work towards a full recovery," Nets GM Sean Marks said. "We understand and appreciate Jeremy’s competitive desire to get back on the court with his teammates, however, we are going to be cautious with his rehab in order to ensure that he is at full strength once he returns." If you don't have an IR spot, Lin's owners can move on unless they're in a great position in the standings. Spencer Dinwiddie and Isaiah Whitehead have been splitting the PG minutes in Lin's absence and will continue to do so, but standard-league owners should look elsewhere for production.

Kris Dunn thrived as a starter in place of Ricky Rubio (personal) on Sunday, finishing with 10 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, three steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Dunn averaged just 4.4 points on 28.0 percent shooting in five starts earlier this season, but he's come a long way since then, and tonight's assists and rebounds were both career-highs. Rubio suffered a hip injury recently, and he's a prime trade target, all of which makes Dunn an appealing stash both short- and long-term, especially after tonight's showing.
Jan 22 - 10:28 PM

Karl-Anthony Towns carried the Wolves to a 111-108 home win on Sunday, racking up 32 points (13-of-19 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), 12 rebounds, seven assists, four blocks, one steal and six turnovers in 40 minutes.

The offense ran through Towns a lot tonight, which was no surprise with Ricky Rubio (personal) out of commission -- before the game, former Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau referred to running Chicago's offense through Joakim Noah when Derrick Rose was injured. KAT is the second Wolves player with consecutive 30/10/5 games (Kevin Garnett did it five times), and he's simply on fire as we cruise into the latter half of the regular season.
Jan 22 - 10:15 PM

Ryan Anderson (illness) is expected to play in Monday's game against Milwaukee.

Ryno has missed three of his last four games due to a stomach virus. He told ESPN that he was not able to eat for three days, but has eaten over the last two days and "feels better." Sam Dekker and Corey Brewer will lose some minutes when Ryno returns.

DeMar DeRozan injured his right ankle during Sunday's game, which he finished with 22 points (6-of-17 FGs, 10-of-11 FTs), four assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block.

He was visibly frustrated after landing on a teammates foot halfway through the fourth quarter. He continued to play for a while, but didn't return after exiting with 1:30 left in a one-point game. The Raptors have a day off before facing the Spurs on Tuesday, so we'll keep a close eye on his status in case the ankle worsens overnight. If he misses any time, expect Terrence Ross to gain the most, with help from Norman Powell and DeMarre Carroll.
