Rajon Rondo posted his third triple-double of the playoffs in Game 7 vs. the Sixers, scoring 18 points with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and seven turnovers in the victory.

Triple-doubles are almost standard from Rondo in the postseason, but we're not used to seeing him seal the win with long perimeter jumpers and free throws. He made nine straight points for Boston after Paul Pierce (15 points, nine rebounds) fouled out, draining a 3-pointer, a long jumper with his foot on the line, a layup, and a pair of FTs. Through 11 postseason games, he is averaging 15.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 12.5 assists, and 2.6 steals. There's a reason we weren't sweating the Rondo trade rumors that cropped up this season.

Marcus Morris caught an Adreian Payne elbow to his face and went to the locker room in the fourth quarter on Friday.

Morris was on the floor face down for about two minutes. He had a towel over his nose and went to the locker room without assistance, but he was walking back slowly. There's a good chance Morris broke his nose and could miss time. If he's out, Jon Leuer would get a bump and perhaps Stanley Johnson gets in the mix. Morris finished with 15 points, seven boards, one dime and three 3-pointers.
Dec 9 - 10:18 PM

George Hill (left toe) will not play on Saturday vs. the Kings.

This will be his sixth game in a row on the shelf after he missed eight games in a row earlier this season with a thumb issue. Hill was playing the best ball of his life this season, so his owners just need to hang in there. Shelvin Mack is worth streaming while Hill is out, but Dante Exum still belongs on the wire.
Dec 9 - 10:11 PM

Gordon Hayward (finger) is probable for Saturday's game vs. the Kings.

He missed Thursday's game vs. the Warriors, but you have to wonder if the Jazz simply wanted to rest him against arguably the top team in the league right now. Rodney Hood (hamstring) is questionable and George Hill (toe) is out, so Hayward is going to be a strong play in all formats Saturday.
Dec 9 - 10:07 PM

Derrick Rose (back) said he expects to play on Sunday vs. the Lakers.

Rose is sitting out against the Kings on Friday for the second straight game, meaning Brandon Jennings will likely head back to the bench on Sunday. Rose is traveling with the team and is day-to-day, so this isn't a surprise. He's averaging 16.7 points, 4.8 assists and 4.1 rebounds on 45.0 percent shooting this season.
Dec 9 - 9:35 PM

Bismack Biyombo is dealing with a sore left shoulder and will be re-evaluated on Saturday.

The cause for the injury isn't 100 percent clear, but he looked to have tweaked his left shoulder on a block attempt in the second half. With Nikola Vucevic (back) also getting hurt, the Magic will really need Biyombo on Saturday. If both are out, we'll see a lot of Serge Ibaka, Jeff Green and small-ball lineups. Stephen Zimmerman would also likely be activated. Biyombo finished Friday's game with nine points, three rebounds and two turnovers in 16 minutes.
Dec 9 - 9:13 PM

Nikola Vucevic suffered a lower back injury in the second half on Friday and will be re-evaluated in Orlando on Saturday.

He went for a loose ball and Roy Hibbert undercut him. Vucevic landed on his right hip and was in pain on the bench for at least one minute. He's had back problems before, so hopefully this didn't tweak an older injury. The Magic do play on Saturday, so they may have to make some adjustments with more Jeff Green and a lot of small-ball combos. Vooch finished with seven points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 23 minutes.
Dec 9 - 9:10 PM

Brandon Ingram will start on Friday vs. the Suns, sending Marcelo Huertas back to the bench.

The rookie will be the starting SG next to Jordan Clarkson. Ingram has played 33 or more minutes in four out of his last five games, but he's going to see big minutes regardless of whether or not he starts moving forward.
Dec 9 - 8:51 PM

Matt Barnes (rest) will not play Friday night against the Knicks.

He is reportedly close to being arrested and charged with assaulting a woman, according to the NY Daily News. With Barnes out tonight, Omri Casspi should benefit the most while Arron Afflalo could get back in the rotation tonight.
Dec 9 - 8:40 PM

Salah Mejri will start against the Pacers on Friday.

He gets a really bad matchup tonight against Myles Turner, so coach Rick Carlisle will keep him on a short leash. Carlisle also yelled at Mejri on Wednesday. He may have some short-term value, but he has to play better.
Dec 9 - 8:21 PM

Nemanja Bjelica (sore right ankle) will not play against the Pistons on Friday.

This is a new injury for Bjelica. He's played well in the second unit to offer some space and has seen some run with the ones at times, too. With him out, Cole Aldrich and Shabazz Muhammad could see a couple extra minutes.
Dec 9 - 7:18 PM

Seth Curry (knee) will play against Indiana on Friday.

He's back after missing the last four due to a knee sprain. Curry does have a tougher spot for minutes with Devin Harris getting more run and Deron Williams playing some solid ball. Stephen's brother could be looking minutes around 20 in his first game back. He is worth a look in standard leagues, especially with the Mavs sliding in the standings.
