The Pacers officially re-signed George Hill on Friday.

Per team policy, terms were undisclosed. As long as Hill stays healthy, he appears to be the favorite to start over Augustin, but the two will surely have a fun training camp battle. The Pacers made changes at their backup PG this off-season, sending Darren Collison to the Mavericks, but also signing D.J. Augustin. Hill averaged 13.9 ppg, 5.9 apg and 3.7 rpg in nine starts last season and should be a popular fantasy sleeper pick for next year.

Hassan Whiteside (hand) will start on Thursday night against the Raptors.

He went through warmups and apparently is good to go. Whiteside also went through morning shootaround and has intended to play all day. Fantasy owners can fire up Whiteside, but the Raptors did a good job against him in their last meeting with just 12 points.

P.J. Tucker is likely to start for Serge Ibaka against the Heat on Thursday.

Ibaka is serving his one-game suspension for throwing a punch earlier this week. The Raptors can get away with going smaller against the Heat with the Heat not having many options at power forward. Besides Tucker, there should be more minutes going to Norman Powell and Pat Patterson may also play slightly more. Without Serge, Jonas Valanciunas should also play more against Hassan Whiteside, assuming he can go.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: With Ibaka out of action, Tucker figures to see more than 30 minutes of court time and sets up as one of the best punt plays at the SF spot on Thursday. He's not typically a strong per-minute producer, but his 0.79 FPPM with Lowry/Ibaka off the floor this month would be enough for him to hit value. Patrick Patterson should also see increased run off the bench, but his ceiling is fairly limited.
Mar 23 - 6:11 PM

Jeremy Lin (ankle) will start against the Suns on Thursday.

His ankle sprain from Sunday will only cost him one game. Lin's playing time was on the rise and he even played 30 minutes last Thursday, so the Nets may get him back up to minutes in the upper 20s. With Lin back, Spencer Dinwiddie will move back to the bench and Isaiah Whitehead will lose playing time. Lin is safe to start tonight, but the Nets may take it easy on him for Friday night.

Danilo Gallinari (left knee bone bruise) has been upgraded to questionable for Friday against the Pacers.

He's missed the last four games, but Gallinari at least had a chance to play on Wednesday. If Gallinari does make it back, coach Mike Malone will have a tough time getting everyone minutes. Wilson Chandler played mostly SF on Wednesday, which allowed Kenneth Faried and Mason Plumlee to hold down the minutes at the four. Gallo's return would also take minutes from Will Barton.
Mar 23 - 4:40 PM

T.J. Warren is listed as questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Nets with a left foot contusion.

Game notes aren't very reliable, but given how cautious the Suns are being with injuries these days, Warren's owners will want to be on the lookout for an update. If he's unable to give it a go, we should see more of Derrick Jones Jr., Jared Dudley and Jarell Eddie. None of those players are pickups, though. Warren is putting up averages of 16.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.1 blocks and 0.9 steals since the break.

Alan Williams (illness) is expecting to play on Thursday vs. the Nets.

Williams was on the active list on Tuesday vs. the Heat, but left the team right before tip-off because he was dealing with some food poisoning. If he looks good during pre-game warmups, expect him to be out there tonight. If not, Alex Len will have a heavy workload at center and Marquese Chriss will have to play some five as well. Through 10 games in March, Williams is averaging a double-double with 13.1 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks.
Mar 23 - 12:07 PM

Hassan Whiteside (right hand laceration) was able to go through the morning shootaround.

Coach Erik Spoelstra said that Whiteside still intends to play on Thursday vs. the Raptors, but did add that most of the stuff he did at the shootaround was left handed. With the Heat fighting for a playoff spot, the chances of Whiteside playing should be pretty good. Check back for an update after the pre-game warmups.
Mar 23 - 11:50 AM

Paul Millsap (knee) will not play on Friday vs. the Bucks.

This will be his fourth game in a row on the shelf and it's not a good sign that he isn't traveling with the team. Atlanta's next game is on Sunday vs. the 14-56 Nets, so his owners are in a tough spot. With Millsap out, Ersan Ilyasova is worth streaming if you need a bump in points, rebounds and triples.

Rudy Gobert erupted for a career-high 35 points vs. the Knicks on Wednesday, making 13-of-14 FGs and 9-of-12 FTs with 13 rebounds, four blocks, one assist and one steal in 38 minutes.

New York started small with Kristaps Porzingis at center and they never found an answer for Gobert in the paint -- all 14 of his shots came within the restricted area. Rudy is the seventh player since 1987 to have scored 35+ points while shooting at least 90 percent, joining the company of Alonzo Mourning, Scottie Pippen, Cedric Ceballos, Charles Barkley, Reggie Miller and Dwight Howard. As a reminder, he's still just 24 years old.
Mar 23 - 1:59 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 32 points in a 116-98 win at Sacramento on Wednesday, adding 13 rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block, one 3-pointer and no turnovers.

It's just the second time this month he's hit the 30-point mark, and Antetokounmpo scored at least 20 points in just two of his previous six games. The Bucks finally had their six-game road trip end and they'll be heading back home this weekend. Antetokounmpo is much better at home with a 54.0 field goal percentage with better averages in points, boards, steals, blocks and threes at home compared to being on the road. After a down couple weeks, Giannis should go back to being a top-three guy going forward.
Mar 23 - 1:24 AM

X-rays were negative on Derrick Rose's left foot, but he exited the arena after Wednesday's game with a brace and a noticeable limp.

Rose did return after the injury, finishing with 17 points and six assists in 32 minutes, but we're considering him questionable to face the Blazers on Thursday. Rose said that his foot was injured, not his ankle, and his oft-injured knees don't seem to have been affected. If he is forced to miss any time, Ron Baker and Chasson Randle would absorb the PG duties.
