Damian Lillard said that he wants to be rookie of the year next season.

"I want to be rookie of the year," he said. But he didn't just stop there. "I want to be an All-Star in the next few years, and after that, I want to be in the Olympics in 2016." We know Lillard certainly doesn't lack confidence, and we observed his scoring proclivity at summer league. GM Neil Olshey has previously likened the No. 6 overall pick to Chauncey Billups, and we're not shying away from him in fantasy drafts whatsoever.

Nerlens Noel will start and Yogi Ferrell will come off the bench against the Clippers on Thursday.

The Mavs will go with Noel as a start for just the second time. He blew up for 15 points and 17 boards in his first start, so hopefully coach Rick Carlisle plays him more than his 17 minutes from Tuesday. Get him in your lineup.
Mar 23 - 8:36 PM

Lance Thomas (sore right hip) will not play against the Blazers on Thursday night.

Thomas played 32 minutes in a start on Wednesday and apparently picked up an injury along the way. With Thomas and Carmelo Anthony (knee) out, the Knicks will likely play more Willy Hernangomez and Kyle O'Quinn next to each other. We should see more Mindaugas Kuzminskas and a little bit of Justin Holiday at the three.
Mar 23 - 8:34 PM

Carmelo Anthony (sore left knee) and Derrick Rose (sore right foot) will not play against the Blazers on Thursday.

It will be Melo's second half off this month and his first March DNP was also due to his sore left knee. With the Knicks quickly falling out of the playoff race, the likelihood of Melo missing games goes up each day. With him out, the Knicks will give some big minutes to Mindaugas Kuzminskas while Kristaps Porzingis should be busy.
Mar 23 - 8:29 PM

T.J. Warren (left foot contusion) will not play against the Nets on Thursday and Derrick Jones Jr. will start.

Warren's foot injury will keep him out of action for the first time in 2017. This is not the same foot injury that Warren fractured last year, so hopefully it's just a day-to-day thing. Jones Jr. should get a decent amount of run in the first unit while Jarell Eddie should see some added run.
Mar 23 - 7:13 PM

Hassan Whiteside (hand) will start on Thursday night against the Raptors.

He went through warmups and apparently is good to go. Whiteside also went through morning shootaround and has intended to play all day. Fantasy owners can fire up Whiteside, but the Raptors did a good job against him in their last meeting with just 12 points.
Mar 23 - 6:46 PM

T.J. Warren (foot) is closer to doubtful for Thursday against the Nets.

Coach Earl Watson wouldn't say for sure on if Warren could give it a go. If not, the Suns would likely give more minutes to Jarell Eddie and Derrick Jones Jr. There should be another update shortly.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: While Warren's absence may not lead to a bench player seeing a huge uptick in fantasy value, it certainly raises the floor/ceiling of Devin Booker, who sees a 6.1% usage spike with Warren, Chandler, Bledsoe, Knight and Bender off the floor. Both Booker and Tyler Ulis should approach the 40 minute mark against one of the NBA's weakest defenses, and considering the game should stay close, both players are elite targets.
Mar 23 - 6:16 PM

P.J. Tucker is likely to start for Serge Ibaka against the Heat on Thursday.

Ibaka is serving his one-game suspension for throwing a punch earlier this week. The Raptors can get away with going smaller against the Heat with the Heat not having many options at power forward. Besides Tucker, there should be more minutes going to Norman Powell and Pat Patterson may also play slightly more. Without Serge, Jonas Valanciunas should also play more against Hassan Whiteside, assuming he can go.

RotoGrinders.com Daily Slant: With Ibaka out of action, Tucker figures to see more than 30 minutes of court time and sets up as one of the best punt plays at the SF spot on Thursday. He's not typically a strong per-minute producer, but his 0.79 FPPM with Lowry/Ibaka off the floor this month would be enough for him to hit value. Patrick Patterson should also see increased run off the bench, but his ceiling is fairly limited.
Mar 23 - 6:11 PM

Jeremy Lin (ankle) will start against the Suns on Thursday.

His ankle sprain from Sunday will only cost him one game. Lin's playing time was on the rise and he even played 30 minutes last Thursday, so the Nets may get him back up to minutes in the upper 20s. With Lin back, Spencer Dinwiddie will move back to the bench and Isaiah Whitehead will lose playing time. Lin is safe to start tonight, but the Nets may take it easy on him for Friday night.

Danilo Gallinari (left knee bone bruise) has been upgraded to questionable for Friday against the Pacers.

He's missed the last four games, but Gallinari at least had a chance to play on Wednesday. If Gallinari does make it back, coach Mike Malone will have a tough time getting everyone minutes. Wilson Chandler played mostly SF on Wednesday, which allowed Kenneth Faried and Mason Plumlee to hold down the minutes at the four. Gallo's return would also take minutes from Will Barton.
Mar 23 - 4:40 PM

T.J. Warren is listed as questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Nets with a left foot contusion.

Game notes aren't very reliable, but given how cautious the Suns are being with injuries these days, Warren's owners will want to be on the lookout for an update. If he's unable to give it a go, we should see more of Derrick Jones Jr., Jared Dudley and Jarell Eddie. None of those players are pickups, though. Warren is putting up averages of 16.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.1 blocks and 0.9 steals since the break.

Alan Williams (illness) is expecting to play on Thursday vs. the Nets.

Williams was on the active list on Tuesday vs. the Heat, but left the team right before tip-off because he was dealing with some food poisoning. If he looks good during pre-game warmups, expect him to be out there tonight. If not, Alex Len will have a heavy workload at center and Marquese Chriss will have to play some five as well. Through 10 games in March, Williams is averaging a double-double with 13.1 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks.
