Lakers sign C Greg Somogyi.

He'll be invited to training camp on a non-guaranteed deal. The undrafted UC Santa Barbara product obviously doesn't project to crack the rotation at this point, but at least he has an opportunity. He's 7'3" and the Lakers have also been noncommittal on second-round pick Robert Sacre, so it wouldn't be a complete shock to see Somogyi make the team, but the L.A. Times called him the "longest of longshots" to make the final roster.

Evan Turner (toe) is available to play vs. the Pelicans on Saturday.

He'll almost certainly be starting with the Blazers needing someone to replace Moe Harkless. Besides Turner, Shabazz Napier could see some additional run and he may even be a candidate to start because the Blazers need to make some changes. Turner would be risky to play in DFS, but he has options.

Moe Harkless (knee) will not play in Game 4 against the Pelicans on Saturday.

Even though Evan Turner will be out there, it's bad news for the Blazers that they won't have Harkless. The Blazers need some additional ball handlers to help out the backcourt, so we may see some extra Shabazz Napier to take pressure off Damian Lillard.
Apr 21 - 3:30 PM

Coach Brad Stevens said Marcus Smart (thumb) will see a doctor next week, and he could return to action if he is cleared.

The Celtics have said that he's hopeful for Game 7 against the Bucks, so making it back before next weekend is possible. Smart was was given a 6-8 week timetable and the 27th would be six weeks. If he's back, he may still come off the bench because of how well Terry Rozier has played. Shane Larkin would lose minutes.
Apr 21 - 3:10 PM

John Henson (back soreness) is doubtful for Sunday's Game 4 vs. Boston.

He did not play in Game 3 and was ruled out almost two hours before tip time, so he wasn't close for that one. Thon Maker was one of the heroes for Game 3 with five blocks and 14 points, but he'll likely come off the bench behind Tyler Zeller. Jabari Parker is the clear winner here as the Bucks will go smaller more often.
Apr 21 - 2:45 PM

Kevin Durant (ankle) went through practice on Saturday and is expected to play in Game 4 on Sunday in San Antonio.

After he slightly rolled his ankle as he went after a loose ball, KD has downplayed this injury being a problem since Thursday night. Going through practice today makes it clear that this issue shouldn't affect him much, so he's a viable stud to play in your DFS lineups tomorrow.
Apr 21 - 2:25 PM

Coach Steve Kerr said Stephen Curry (knee) participated in most of a non-contact practice on Saturday.

The Warriors are saying Curry will do some "modified team practices" over the next week as he ramps up on-court activity. If the Warriors and Pelicans advance in 4-6 games, the conference semifinals could move up to Apr. 28 or 29. Curry is going to be re-evaluated on Apr. 27, so he's likely out for Game 1.
Apr 21 - 2:14 PM

Coach Tyronn Lue said that George Hill (back spasms) is having an MRI and that he is questionable for Game 4 on Sunday.

Hill's back flared up on him in Game 1, and it's been a problem for him since. He was initially listed as questionable for Game 2, but did end up playing. He finished with six points, three assists and two turnovers in 20 minutes before fouling out. If Hill is unable to suit up, Jose Calderon will likely draw the start at point guard, with Jordan Clarkson seeing an uptick in minutes off the bench. This is not an ideal scenario for the Cavs in what is essentially a must-win game.
Apr 21 - 1:40 PM

Thon Maker made a major impact off the bench against the Celtics in Game 3 on Friday, scoring 14 points with five rebounds, one steal, five blocks and three 3-pointers in 24 minutes.

He was knocking down open treys with plenty of pick-and-pop action, and he was terrific on help defense as the Celtics attacked the basket. John Henson (back) was ruled out with plenty of time to spare before tip, so maybe Maker gets another chance to put up numbers. He'll be a DFS play, but don't expect him to be this good.
Apr 20 - 11:58 PM

Jabari Parker scored 17 points with five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes against the Celtics in Game 3 on Friday.

He wanted playing time, and he got it in this big win. Parker did get some minutes in garbage time, but the damage was already done with 17 points before the final five minutes. If John Henson (back) is out again, Parker should be able to find minutes in the upper 20s or even low 30s if he's hot.
Apr 20 - 11:57 PM

John Wall scored 28 points with six rebounds, 14 assists, four steals, one block and three turnovers in 36 minutes during a 122-103 win over the Raptors in Game 3 on Friday.

Bradley Beal matched Wall's 28 points as the backcourt that claims they're the best in the NBA actually played like it today. Wall and Beal combined for 40 points in the first half, which helped the Wizards get 22 points off turnovers in the first half, as well. Both guards will have to get their teammates involved because odds are they're both not going to be on in the next few games. The Wizards will look to even up this series on Sunday at home.
Apr 20 - 11:00 PM

Bojan Bogdanovic scored a postseason career-high 30 points during a comeback 92-90 win over the Cavs in Game 3 on Friday, adding four rebounds and seven 3-pointers.

He was 11-of-15 from the field for a tidy 96.7 eFG% in this comeback win after the Pacers fell behind 57-40 at half. Bojan had the Rockets approach for scoring with all of his 11 makes coming either at the rim or from deep while several of his treys were well beyond the arc. He was also a star on the defensive end with on-ball pressure on LeBron James, which is even more impressive after he picked up two fouls in the first 2:30 of this win. He's been solid all season and he'll continue to be the most important defensive piece in what looks like will be a lengthy series.
