Andrew Bynum (knees) will be held out of basketball activities for three weeks as a "precautionary measure."

Bynum went to Germany for what was labeled as routine maintenance, but he's been diagnosed with a bone bruise and the Sixers will be extra cautious with their big offseason acquisition. He will be allowed to do conditioning drills, so it's not as if he's sitting out doing nothing. Still, it's a less than stellar way for Bynum to begin his tenure in Philly. The Sixers have stressed that holding Bynum out is to maximize the therapeutic impact of his Orthokine treatment, but he actually had the procedure done on both knees. We're watching his health very closely before the season begins. Spencer Hawes, Lavoy Allen and Kwame Brown would all see a bump in minutes if Bynum is forced to miss time.

Lucas Nogueira will draw the start in place of Jonas Valanciunas (ankle) on Monday vs. the Spurs.

Nogueira started the second half of Saturday's game vs. Philly when J-Val left the game, finishing with 10 points with nine rebounds, two steals and two blocks in 16 minutes. J-Val is hopeful to return on this six-game road trip, but coach Dwane Casey said Nogueira will start until he's cleared to return. Give him a look if you need to stream some blocks this week.

Dennis Schroder (ankle) said he's targeting a return on Friday vs. Denver.

He will miss Monday's game vs. the Heat and Thursday's game against Chicago, so he's only going to play in two games this week if this timetable holds. "I don’t want to rush it," Schroder said of his ankle. Malcolm Delaney is looking at at least two starts and has some deep-league streaming appeal.
Oct 23 - 6:58 PM

James Johnson and Jordan Mickey will start in Miami's frontcourt again on Monday.

They'll join Goran Dragic, Dion Waiters and Josh Richardson. Mickey was basically a placeholder with Hassan Whiteside (knee) out on Saturday, but Johnson looked terrific and makes for a great DFS play. Kelly Olynyk should also get a bump in playing time as the first big off the bench.
Oct 23 - 6:56 PM

Chandler Parsons is on a minutes restriction of "about 15 minutes," according to coach David Fizdale.

Fizdale added that Parsons' minutes could increase depending upon "late game scenario[s]," but nothing about this situation is good for fantasy owners. He's playing strictly as a backup PF and there should be more appealing options on most waiver wires -- including Parsons' teammate, rookie Dillon Brooks.
Oct 23 - 6:42 PM

Tyreke Evans (left knee contusion) will play on Monday vs. Houston.

There's no word of any restrictions, so his owners can only assume that he'll see minutes in the 20s again. Through the first two games of the season, Evans is averaging 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.5 triples on 37.5 percent shooting.
Oct 23 - 6:39 PM

Matthew Dellavedova will draw the start on Monday vs. the Hornets.

Malcolm Brogdon is day-to-day with an ankle sprain and coach Jason Kidd isn't sure when he'll be back. The Bucks are thin at PG, so Dellavedova is looking at heavy minutes. He doesn't have great upside, but is worth streaming if you're targeting assists, steals and triples. He averaged 8.1 points, 5.1 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.2 triples in 27 starts last season.
Oct 23 - 6:32 PM

Bucks coach Jason Kidd called Malcolm Brogdon (ankle) day-to-day.

He confirmed that Brogdon is sitting against the Hornets on Monday and wouldn't provide a timetable for his return. The Bucks activated Gary Payton II for tonight's contest, but Matthew Dellavedova is expected to start and is the biggest beneficiary in fantasy.
Oct 23 - 6:29 PM

Ryan Anderson (lower back pain) will play vs. the Grizzlies on Monday.

The 3-point specialist comes in with averages of 8.7 points, 7.7 boards and 2.0 triples in three games. He's shooting just 34.8 percent from the field, partly because he's never close to the rim -- he doesn't have a single two-point attempt in the past two games. Nevertheless, he's safe to activate if you're relying on him.
Oct 23 - 6:19 PM

Malcolm Delaney and Mike Muscala will both enter the starting lineup on Monday vs. the Heat.

Coach Mike Budenhozer said it's too early to know if Dennis Schroder (ankle) or Ersan Ilyasova (knee) will be back for Thursday's game. Delaney is looking at a heavy workload tonight and is worth streaming for PG-needy owners, but we'd like him better in weekly lineups if we knew Schroder was definitely going to miss more time.
Oct 23 - 6:10 PM

Stephen Curry was fined $50,000 for throwing his mouthpiece during Saturday's game, but will not be suspended and will play Monday vs. the Mavs.

Curry was irate at a non-call and threw his mouthpiece in the direction of a referee late in the fourth quarter of Saturday's loss to Memphis. There was some concern that the league might suspend him for a game; however, he only got hit with a fine. Curry is averaging 29.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 4.3 treys over the Warriors first three games.
Oct 23 - 4:58 PM

Rodney Hood (calf) went through portions of practice on Monday and is questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Clippers.

Hood, fortunately, avoided serious injury during a fall last Friday. He did not play Saturday, with Donovan Mitchell replacing him in the starting lineup. However, Mitchell was ineffective (two points and six assists) in 22 minutes, while Thabo Sefolosha logged 28 minutes off the bench. Alec Burks also saw 20 minutes of action as a reserve. These three would likely divvy up the additional available playing time if Hood is unable to suit on Tuesday.
