Draymond Green (knee) missed practice again on Thursday.

Green is dealing with left knee inflammation, and although Mark Jackson suggested the rookie could immediately earn minutes in the rotation, every day of missed practice in training camp pushes him further behind the learning curve.

Brandon Knight (ankle) will not play against the Blazers on Friday night.

He and warming up don't get along. Tonight is the second game in a row in which he warmed up and couldn't play. With Knight out, it'll be Marcus Morris and Archie Goodwin getting most of the playing time.
Mar 27 - 9:44 PM

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist suffered a left ankle sprain on Friday and will not return.

He was able to limp to the locker room under his own power, but he was moving slowly. At this point, he's likely going to be out for the rest of the game. With Kidd-Gilchrist and Cody Zeller (shoulder) out, Jason Maxiell, Marvin Williams and Gerald Henderson will step up. MKG exited with 11 points, eight boards and one block.
Mar 27 - 8:51 PM

Pelicans head coach Monty Williams said that he expects Jrue Holiday (leg) will return before the regular-season ends, but he would not give a specific date.

This is an interesting development, however, Jrue has been sidelined since Jan. 12 and he would more than likely be eased back into the rotation when/if he does eventually return. He still has yet to go through a practice with the team, and given the uncertainty of this situation, it's probably best to leave Jrue on the wire in most leagues.
Mar 27 - 7:52 PM

Donatas Motiejunas (back) is expected to miss the next 1-2 weeks.

He has low back pain and tightness, so the Rockets are going to be very thin at power forward. Motiejunas was playing very well and scored 21 points on Wednesday, but he's suddenly a cut candidate in all leagues. It'll be Josh Smith getting all the minutes he can handle until Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) can return -- he could be back next week.
Mar 27 - 7:46 PM

Kevin Martin (hamstrings) and Ricky Rubio (ankle) will not play against the Rockets on Friday.

Martin said he expects to be better next week, so he is probably going to miss at least a couple more games. Andrew Wiggins has been logging major minutes and will look to strength his case for Rookie of the Year. Lorenzo Brown will be getting most of Martin's minutes.
Mar 27 - 6:57 PM

Andrew Nicholson will slide into the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Pistons with Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) unavailable.

This will be Nicholson's second start of the season. He managed to put up 13 points, six rebounds and three assists during his last stint with the starting unit, but he's only worth a look as a last-minute streamer option in very deep leagues.
Mar 27 - 6:56 PM

Warriors' head coach Steve Kerr said that Klay Thompson (ankle) will no longer be with a hard minutes limit, but he would still like to keep at around 25-30 minutes.

Basically, if the Warriors can get another blowout tonight expect to see Klay on the bench early. That being said, even if Klay is held to the lower-end of the minutes spectrum, that's still plenty of time for him to produce quality statistics for his fantasy teams, and remains a must-start guy every time he's in uniform. Get him active.
Mar 27 - 6:49 PM

Dwyane Wade (knee) is in the starting lineup against the Hawks on Friday.

Apparently Wade really wants to play on 2 Chainz night in the ATL. He was not expected to play earlier today and skipped shootaround this morning. For what it's worth, Wade was in the starting lineup on Wednesday, but he didn't play in that game. Start him at your own risk in daily leagues.
Mar 27 - 6:40 PM

Josh Smith will slide into the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Timberwolves, with Donatas Motiejunas (back) unavailable.

With Motiejunas and Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) out, and Dwight Howard on a minutes limit tonight, J Smoov is going to get all the run he can handle in a very favorable matchup with the Wolves. He looks like a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues.
Mar 27 - 6:25 PM

Bradley Beal (ankle) will start against the Hornets on Friday.

The Wizards dodged a bullet here with Garrett Temple (hamstring) out and this injury also occurring to Beal's troublesome right leg. He can be started in all leagues tonight in a very important game for the Wizards.
Mar 27 - 6:25 PM

Robert Covington will return to the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Clippers.

Covington has been en fuego over the last two, draining 11 three-pointers while offering a little bit of everything. Make sure you have him in your active lineup. It's not clear at this point if Jason Richardson will be rested, or if he's simply coming off the bench, but he's been pretty awful lately so his status shouldn't matter in most leagues.
