Andrew Bynum (knee) will soon undergo a scheduled injection to lubricate his knees and reduce pain.

Bynum is still tentatively planning to return the last week of October, but this does nothing to ease our concerns about his knee. He's not a lock to play in the Sixers' season opener, and at the very least his conditioning will be a question mark.

Enes Kanter (arm) returned to action on Friday vs. the Lakers, but scored just four points on 2-of-12 shooting.

He missed a lot of easy looks and finished 2-of-10 in the paint, but some rust was to be expected. He played 19 minutes and grabbed seven rebounds with one assist and four turnovers, but it is a little concerning that the Thunder have another solid option in their frontcourt in Taj Gibson. It's going to take some time for Kanter to find his rhythm, but he could be more a late-round guy going forward.

Robert Covington torched the Wizards on Friday night, scoring 25 points with 11 rebounds, three assists, four steals and five 3-pointers.

He made 9-of-14 from the field as the 76ers offense was hitting on all cylinders. Covington has been on fire in the last 30 days, averaging 16.3 points, 7.6 boards, 1.8 assists, 2.9 steals and 2.7 treys on a respectable 43.7 percent from the field in those 12 games. Due to injuries and Ersan Ilyasova heading to the ATL, RoCo will be in his best position all season and is a must-start player.
Feb 24 - 10:54 PM

Richaun Holmes owned the paint against the Wizards on Friday, scoring 12 points with 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals and five blocks in 26 minutes.

The 76ers won't miss Nerlens Noel too much if Holmes keeps playing like this. He's outplayed Jahlil Okafor basically all season and at times he's been ahead of him on the depth chart too. He's always been capable per-minute, he has some shooting touch and he obviously can block shots. With Joel Embiid (knee) out for at least three more, Holmes could have some short term value in fantasy. It's not crazy to think he'll pass Okafor once Embiid is back either. If you need a big man in a 14-team league, Holmes is worth a long look to see how this plays out
Feb 24 - 10:48 PM

Kenneth Faried (lower back spasms) will not return on Friday night.

He had an awkward landing in this game and tried to play through it, but he was ruled out about 40 minutes later in real time. This is not the same as the ankle injury that had him on the injury report today, but Faried did have back issues in January. If he needs to miss time, Darrell Arthur and Juancho Hernangomez should benefit.
Feb 24 - 10:40 PM

Ivica Zubac blocked three shots in 27 minutes on Friday vs. the Thunder, adding 11 points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Magic Johnson said earlier in the week that getting Zubac more minutes was a priority, so tonight was very encouraging for his rest-of-season outlook. He shot 5-of-9 from the field and 1-of-2 from the line against a tough OKC frontcourt. Zubac is loaded with upside and won't hurt you in any category, making him a solid pickup in standard leagues. He averages 2.1 blocks per 36 minutes and was shooting 75.0 percent from the line prior to Friday.
Feb 24 - 10:39 PM

Jordan Clarkson scored 14 points on 6-of-17 shooting on Friday vs. the Thunder.

Coach Luke Walton said Clarkson is going to close out more games with D'Angelo Russell now that Lou Williams is in Denver, and he kept his word tonight. Clarkson added five rebounds, five assists, four steals and two triples, posting a 28.1 usage rate in 29 minutes -- he had a 23.0 usage rate on the season. He's trending up and is a big winner of the Lou Williams trade along with Russell. He's firmly back on the standard-league radar if you're targeting triples and steals.
Feb 24 - 10:31 PM

Bradley Beal's 40 points were not enough during a 120-112 loss to the 76ers on Friday, adding four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

He put on a scoring clinic with all sorts of fancy baskets for the Philly crowd. While John Wall is struggling a tad with his efficiency lately, Beal is flourishing with 26.3 points, 3.5 boards, 3.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 3.6 treys on 56.2 percent from the field in his last 10. He is above league average as a shooter in basically every area of the floor, including his 73.3 percent at the rim in that span. He should have been an All-Star and is having a breakout season for his owners.
Feb 24 - 10:30 PM

D'Angelo Russell lit up the box score for 29 points, six assists, four rebounds, four steals and three triples in Friday's 110-93 loss to the Thunder.

With Lou Williams out of the picture, coach Luke Walton said Russell and Jordan Clarkson would be more involved in the fourth quarter and he kept his word as both players closed this game out. Russell logged 36 minutes on the night and hit 12-of-25 from the field and 2-of-3 from the line with four turnovers, so he's a huge winner from the Lou Williams trade. His fantasy arrow is pointing way up.
Feb 24 - 10:26 PM

Paul George (cramp) said he will play against the Heat on Saturday night.

He had a cramp that looked to be just above his knee and George did have to limp to the locker room in the last minute on Friday. The Pacers are going to Miami for the Saturday game, so they won't have a shootaround. For now, his fantasy owners can expect him to play for the 8:00 EST start.
Feb 24 - 10:06 PM

Paul George limped to the locker room with less than one minute remaining in the fourth quarter on Friday.

He had an awkward landing on his right leg and had a trainer come out to look at him while he was standing. George eventually went to the bench and had a trainer look at him while he was grimacing for about two minutes, but then limped to the locker room with about 30 seconds left. We should have an update on George in the post-game.He finished with just nine points, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.
Feb 24 - 9:21 PM

Pau Gasol (hand) will come off the bench on Friday vs. the Clippers.

He's been out since Jan. 19, so this move is designed to limit Gasol's minutes in his first game back. Make sure he's not sitting on the waiver wire even though he has taken a noticeable step back in terms of fantasy value this season. Dewayne Dedmon will draw the start at least one more time, but he's an easy drop candidate.
