Kobe Bryant (foot) said that he wasn't as sore as he had been previously following Sunday's win over the Pistons.

That's great news for the Lakers and fantasy owners. "I'm not as sore as I was after last game," he said. With the Lakers not playing until Wednesday against the Jazz, Kobe will have plenty of time to rest. Keep him in your lineup.

Terrence Jones has regained feeling in his toes after damaging a nerve in his leg on Nov. 4, but he remains without a timetable.

"It was scary, very scary for me not to have any movement in my leg at first," said Jones, who has nine games and counting. "Now I’m able to move it a little bit ... Hopefully I’ll be back soon. It’s getting better. It’s hard to say, but I just know I’m coming in and it’s improving." He's dealing with nerve inflammation, which is an unpredictable injury, and fantasy owners have no choice but to shelve him and hope for the best.
Nov 23 - 9:45 AM

Nene's plantar fasciitis is in his right foot, not the left foot that derailed his 2012-13 season.

"I think he’s OK," said Wizards coach Randy Wittman. "I haven’t been able to talk with the trainer or anything to get exactly what’s going on." Nene said the pain has developed "over time" and we're considering him questionable for Tuesday's home game vs. the Hawks, the first in a back-to-back set for Washington. Kris Humphries, Kevin Seraphin and Drew Gooden would absorb Nene's minutes if he can't suit up.
Nov 23 - 9:07 AM

Gordon Hayward was terrific in a losing effort against the Pelicans on Saturday, making 9-of-16 from the field for 31 points with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers.

He made 11-of-14 from the line, which serves as a great indicator of how aggressive he was tonight. Hayward adding some muscle to his frame was highly evident tonight and his new style should help him sustain a better shooting clip. The breakout is real.
Nov 23 - 2:16 AM

Anthony Davis scored a career-high 43 points on 16-of-23 from the field against the Jazz on Saturday to go with 14 boards, two steals and one block.

We promise this is not from a video game.
Nov 23 - 2:01 AM

Danny Green kept his momentum going on Saturday against the Nets with 21 points, seven rebounds, two assists, three blocks and five 3-pointers.

That's good for a 105.0 effective field goal percentage. Green is money in fantasy leagues and he has seven blocks in his last two games. There's no reason why he should be on any waiver wires.
Nov 23 - 1:50 AM

Kris Humphries scored 12 points against the Bucks during a 111-100 win on Saturday to go with nine rebounds, one assist and one block.

Nene (foot) went down tonight and there is a very good chance he will miss time. Humphries has some upside to be a double-double guy with some defensive stats, so he's a speculative add in deeper leagues.
Nov 23 - 1:41 AM

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 20 points against the Wizards during a 111-100 loss on Saturday, adding four rebounds, five assists, three steals and two turnovers.

He made all eight shots from the line and was 6-of-11 from the field in the loss. Antetokounmpo has started to get into a groove on the offensive end and his discovery of the one-dribble drive has gone a long way to help his shooting percentages. He's worth owning in standard leagues, but most of value will likely lie in March and April.
Nov 23 - 1:28 AM

James Harden hit 8-of-18 shots, four 3-pointers and 12-of-13 free throws for 32 points, eight boards, four assists and two steals in Saturday's comeback win over the Mavs.

Harden was fouled late, made the shot and hit the free throw for a tough 3-point play to put the Rockets ahead for good on Saturday. He scored just six points on Tuesday, but bounced back for 24 points on Thursday and 32 tonight.
Nov 22 - 11:51 PM

Chris Bosh made 13-of-20 from the field for 32 points against the Magic during a 99-92 win on Saturday, adding 10 rebounds, one assist and four 3-pointers in 38 minutes.

His ability to knock down jumpers carried the Heat tonight. Bosh entered tonight with an effective field goal percentage of 47.0 on his jumper, which is tremendous for a center and also better than his percentage at the rim (46.8). After a small slump, Bosh looks like he's ready to roll.
Nov 22 - 11:51 PM

Mario Chalmers was in total control of the offense against the Magic on Saturday, making 10-of-16 from the field for 24 points with five rebounds, eight assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

His defense wasn't as bad as usual in this game either. Chalmers' ability to play both guard spots has been huge for the Heat right now and he'll certainly earn his minutes even when Dwyane Wade (hamstring) is back, especially because Wade's minutes will be monitored. Chalmers should be owned in all leagues.
Nov 22 - 11:47 PM

Donatas Motiejunas played a whopping 38 minutes (season high) and hit 5-of-7 shots on his way to 14 points, 12 rebounds and a 3-pointer on Saturday.

He also had five turnovers, but who cares? He's been getting some decent run with Dwight Howard out, but this was easily his best game of the season. He had played just 18 minutes in each of his last two games, but got big run tonight, and it paid off. He's still a shaky play in daily or standard leagues, but as long as Howard and Terrence Jones are out, he's at least worth a look from night to night.
