Avery Bradley (shoulders) is still at least six weeks away from returning and hasn't been cleared for contact, according to Doc Rivers.

Six weeks from now would put Bradley's return in mid-December, and he could be out for even longer than that. "We've got a timetable, but at the end of the day it comes down to how I feel," Bradley said. Given that Bradley hasn't been cleared for contact and the C's don't expect him for the foreseeable future, expect Courtney Lee, Jason Terry and Leandro Barbosa to continue to fill in.

Maxi Kleber is starting at forward for Mavs against the Wolves on Friday.

Coach Rick Carlisle is reaching here with a starting lineup of Dennis Smith Jr., Wes Matthews, Harrison Barnes, Maxi and Dirk Nowitzki. This is bad news for the other Mavs bigs and it's really tough to even attack this team in fantasy because of the bad offense. Well, you can attack them with other players. We'll let you know how it goes, but leave Kleber on the wire in most leagues.
Nov 17 - 8:19 PM

Thabo Sefolosha (right knee soreness) will not play on Friday vs. the Nets.

The Jazz play again on Saturday vs. Orlando, so hopefully they are just resting him for that one. With Sefolosha out, Jonas Jerebko is looking at extended minutes and is worth a look if you need 3-pointers -- he's hit three triples in each of his last two games.
Nov 17 - 6:54 PM

Patrick Beverley (knee) will not play against the Cavs on Friday.

Coach Doc Rivers said he's going to miss at least one more game, but the team listed him as doubtful today. With Beverley out, it's the Lou Williams show while Sindarius Thornwell and Jawun Evans should be in the rotation. The Clippers need a win.
Nov 17 - 6:54 PM

Pascal Siakam will start for Serge Ibaka (knee) against the Knicks on Friday.

He gets the fun job of guarding Kristaps Porzingis. Siakam should be looking at a good amount of minutes because OG Anunoby will be playing some three, so it's not a bad idea to use Siakam in DFS or as a stream tonight.
Nov 17 - 6:46 PM

Spencer Dinwiddie, Allen Crabbe, DeMarre Carroll, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Trevor Booker will start against the Jazz on Friday.

This is the same starting lineup as Tuesday, but using it against Utah is somewhat noteworthy. Booker has played very well and so has Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, so coach Kenny Atkinson just wants his best five out there despite Booker being so short for a five man.
Nov 17 - 6:42 PM

Rodney Hood is expected to start alongside Donovan Mitchell on Friday vs. the Nets.

The Jazz have had some really tough luck with injuries and will be missing Ricky Rubio (Achilles) tonight. Mitchell is starting at PG, so Hood should slide right back into his old role. He's hot over his last five games with 20.6 points and 3.4 triples, so he belongs in fantasy lineups.
Nov 17 - 6:38 PM

Serge Ibaka (swollen left knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Knicks.

Ibaka has been experiencing soreness since banging his knee on Nov. 12 vs. Boston. He did play through the pain against the Pelicans and Rockets, but he didn't look right. With Ibaka sitting this one out, Paskal Siakam is worth a look if you need short-term help with averages of 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals in three fill-in starts, while we should see more of OG Anunoby, and C.J. Miles as well.
Nov 17 - 6:32 PM

Denzel Valentine will start against the Hornets on Friday night.

The Bulls are ranked dead last in offensive rating with their 92.9 offensive rating, so they need some changes. Valentine started the second half on Wednesday and did play 27 minutes, so he may have a chance to see minutes in the 30s. He hasn't exactly played well, but maybe the new role gets him going. Paul Zipser may not be in the rotation today.
Nov 17 - 6:20 PM

Serge Ibaka (swollen left knee) is not expected to play on Friday vs. the Knicks.

Ibaka banged his knee in a fall against Boston and has been sore ever since -- this may explain his poor play against the Pelicans and Rockets. With Ibaka likely to sit, Paskal Siakam is probably the biggest winner and has put up averages of 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals in three fill-in starts.
Nov 17 - 6:16 PM

Donovan Mitchell will start at point guard against the Nets on Friday.

This news was somewhat easy to see from a mile away with Ricky Rubio (Achilles) out, and based on how Mitchell played 32 minutes at point guard in the last three games. He's likely going to play big minutes as Utah tries to climb out of their bad start, so Mitchell could become a very valuable asset. He should be owned in all leagues. Meanwhile, all of the other wings benefit by Mitchell moving over, especially Alec Burks.
Nov 17 - 6:02 PM

Justin Anderson (shin splints) is expected to miss about three weeks.

Even though he was questionable on Wednesday for a shin issue, he played eight minutes in a win. Chances are that playing time set him back and he he dealt with discomfort following that one. The best treatment for shin splints is rest, so hopefully the time off will help him recover. We should see a few more minutes for Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and he could be worth a look in deep leagues.
