Brandon Roy did not start the second half of Friday's game, and Chase Budinger started in his place.

Beat writer Jerry Zgoda says that Roy has been back and forth to the locker room a few times, and of course the focus will be on Roy's knee. Budinger showed up in the Wolves' last outing, and has 10 points and one 3-pointer with one half in the books tonight. 12-team owners should give him a look and keep an eye on Roy's situation closely.

Carlos Delfino's surgically-repaired foot is not healing properly, and the Clippers may waive him via the "stretch provision."

Delfino would be a useful rotation player if healthy, but as things stand the Clippers can reduce his salary-cap amount over several years and thereby clear space for one or two minimum-salary free agents (Chris Douglas-Roberts and Ekpe Udoh have been mentioned as possible targets). Delfino has already had two surgeries on his foot and it sounds like his 2014-15 season is in jeopardy.

The Clippers have agreed to trade Jared Dudley and a future first-round pick to the Bucks, in exchange for Carlos Delfino and Miroslav Raduljica.

Dudley is owed $8.5 million over the next two seasons, whereas Delfino and Raduljica have a combined $4.8 million in guaranteed salary left on their deals, so the Clippers used their first-round draft pick to entice Milwaukee to take on the extra money. Dudley is a proficient 3-point shooter but he faces stiff competition for playing time from guys like Jabari Parker, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton. Fantasy owners can safely ignore him on draft day.

The Cavaliers are still trying to acquire Timofey Mozgov, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

As the Cavs continue their search for a center to backup Anderson Varejao, their search is focused on the Nuggets' Mozgov and Kosta Koufos of the Memphis Grizzlies. Windhorst adds that the Cavs have been trying to acquire Mozgov for the last six to eight weeks while the Grizzlies are reluctant to part with Koufos due to Marc Gasol's injury last season. Mozgov wouldn't have much fantasy value in Cleveland, but a trade could open up more minutes for JaVale McGee and J.J. Hickson in Denver.

Ryan Anderson said in a recent interview that his "recovery's been really smooth," and he expects to be 100 percent healthy by the start of training camp.

"I can do everything with the guys as far as shooting workouts, drills, weights and conditioning," Anderson said. "I just can’t play five-on-five or (even) one-on-one basketball... I have a few more weeks, so training camp I’ll be ready to go all out." Before going down last season Anderson was providing solid value, averaging 19.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 3.0 three-pointers a game. He will look to return to form this upcoming season, and will provide elite 3-point shooting to fantasy squads.

The Rockets are trying to acquire Ramon Sessions in a sign-and-trade with the Bucks.

It would be a terrific fit for the Rockets. Sessions is among the league leaders in drives per 48 minutes and the Rockets really need a backup point guard. He would likely come off the bench behind Pat Beverley while Sessions would hurt the chances of guys like Isaiah Canaan, Troy Daniels and Nick Johnson. This move would hurt Beverley's upside.

Isaiah Thomas (left wrist) said the first day of rehab was going great.

"[I'm] about to get this right hand better on the court, the season is almost here," Thomas said on his Twitter account. The left-hander's move to the Suns figures to hurt his playing time with the Suns expected to have Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe. IT3 has been very effective from a per-minute standpoint, so he's still worth drafting later in fantasy drafts.

Coach Mike Krzyzewski could alternate Kyrie Irving and Derrick Rose as his starting point guards for the FIBA World Cup.

Irving will start in Tuesday's final exhibition vs. Slovenia. Rose was expected to be ahead of Irving, but Kyrie has been absolutely ridiculous during Team USA's exhibition run. The team also sat Rose out for a couple games, so bringing him off the bench could keep his minutes in check. They'll look to dominate in Group C vs. Turkey, New Zealand, Dominican Republic and Ukraine when the tournament starts on Aug. 30.

Free agent Emeka Okafor isn't expected to sign with a team until mid-season because he's still recovering from a herniated disc in his back.

Okafor's camp has been contacted by "roughly half the league," according to ESPN's Marc Stein, including the Cavaliers and the Heat. The best news here might be that Okafor's awful injury won't be career-ending, and the 31-year-old should still have a few productive years in the tank.

The Cavs, Wolves and Sixers have completed the Kevin Love trade.

We all know the details and the only difference is that the Wolves will get a $6.3 million trade exception, not the $4 million reported yesterday. In case you weren't around the past month, the Cavs get Kevin Love; the Wolves get Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, Thaddeus Young and that aforementioned trade exception; and the Sixers get Luc Mbah a Moute, Alexey Shved and a 2015 first-round pick.

Coach Mike Krzyzewski said Derrick Rose "feels very confident" about playing with Team USA.

"These guys want to play with him. That's part of getting back ... to be around a group of your peers," Krzyzewski said. Coach Tom Thibodeau is an assist with the team, so he's likely been a consultant for Coach K with Rose. Both coaches seem to have the belief that the extra playing time will only help Rose get back from only playing in 10 regular season games since April of 2012. He's certainly a candidate for MVP, but he's a really risky target for where we'd expect him to be selected in drafts.

Anthony Davis, Derrick Rose, Stephen Curry and James Harden headlined the release of the 2014 Team USA Basketball roster on Friday.

Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving, DeMar DeRozan, Kenneth Faried, and DeMarcus Cousins all made the squad, though Cousins' status appeared to be in doubt for much of the time. Rudy Gay and Andre Drummond also made the team, as did the ever-so-controversial Mason Plumlee. Damian Lillard, Chandler Parsons, Kyle Korver and Gordon Hayward were among the final cuts. Team USA will be the favorites in Spain, but this is undeniably one of the weaker teams we've seen in a while.
