Manu Ginobili (back) is targeting 25 minutes for Friday's game against the Kings.

It's hard to say which way Ginobili's night will go. On one hand the Kings are a sieve defensively and he could put up big numbers as a result, but the Spurs could also jump out to a big lead and give Manu an easy night to rest. Start him at your own risk on a busy night.

Hassan Whiteside busted out for season-highs 27 points and six blocks during a 106-101 win over the Bucks on Wednesday, adding 13 rebounds and one turnover.

He made 10-of-12 from the field in arguably his best game of the year. Whiteside has really rounded into form over his last five games, averaging 16.0 points, 12.2 boards and 3.6 blocks on 60.8 percent from the field and 81.8 percent from the line. After the Wednesday win, Whiteside did say he was sick for the past couple days, but that may have been referring to a bad loss to the Bulls on Monday. Whatever the case, his fantasy owners should finally have that sour taste out of their mouths from that lingering knee injury.

Donovan Mitchell was sensational throughout Wednesday's road win in Sacramento, scoring 34 points on 14-of-19 shooting with three assists, three steals, one rebound and one 3-pointer.

Mitchell also hit 5-of-7 free throws, with three turnovers in 34 minutes. He's incredibly polished for a 21-year-old rookie and shows no signs of tiring despite averaging 31.4 minutes in a featured role. If you have any doubts, click on the link below for a high-flying dunk when he basically went 1-of-5 vs. the Kings' defense. Whether or not the No. 10 seed Jazz have playoff hopes, Mitchell is locked into a huge role over Utah's final 37 games.

Klay Thompson torched the Bulls during a 119-112 win on Wednesday, making 12-of-22 from the field for a season-high 38 points with four rebounds, two assists and seven 3-pointers.

Stephen Curry also dropped 30, so coach Steve Kerr summed up this night for the Warriors. "Old school Splash Brothers night," Kerr said to describe this win. The Warriors have now won 14 straight games on the road and they'll get a tough test in Houston on Saturday night. Thompson is starting to get hot again and he's played 35 minutes in each of his last four games.
Jan 18 - 12:42 AM

Carmelo Anthony lit up the Lakers for a game-high 27 points on Wednesday, going 10-of-15 from the field with four 3-pointers, three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes.

Melo's altered role in OKC has led to some swings in his fantasy value, but he's settling in as a designated catch-and-shoot guy -- he was slumping from the field, so it was nice to see him find a groove tonight. He'll look to keep it going when the Thunder seek their fourth straight win vs. the visiting Cavs on Saturday.
Jan 18 - 12:40 AM

Stephen Curry scored 30 points with nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and six 3-pointers against the Bulls on Wednesday.

It was the 11th time the Warriors had both Curry and Klay Thompson each score 30-plus points in a game, and of course they're 11-0 in those instances. Curry exploded to start the third with 11 points in the first six-plus minutes to start that frame, which led to GSW taking the third by a 32-12 advantage. Curry has been in one of his unfair modes since returning from injury last month, posting a 30.6 usage rate and a 76.7 TS% in those eight. He's arguably the league's best player when he's playing like this.
Jan 18 - 12:36 AM

Brandon Ingram (sprained ankle) tweaked his ankle during Wednesday's game and sat out the final 15:31, but coach Luke Walton said he could have returned if needed.

OKC was cruising to a lopsided win tonight, so the Lakers played it safe by benching Ingram down the stretch. He finished with eight points, three assists and one rebound. The 20-year-old forward should be fine, but we'll consider him 'questionable' for Friday's home game vs. the Pacers. Check back for more information after Thursday's practice.
Jan 18 - 12:35 AM

Kris Dunn (mouth) did not have concussion symptoms following his exam on Wednesday night.

He chipped and dislocated two front teeth when he fell with 2:52 left in the fourth quarter in tonight’s game, and he is going to be re-evaluated tomorrow. The scary fall after a dunk should only make him day-to-day for now and the Bulls are off until Saturday. After some dental work, expect an update on Thursday afternoon.
Jan 18 - 12:11 AM

Kristaps Porzingis tied his season-high with six blocks on Wednesday, adding 21 points, nine rebounds, three steals and two 3-pointers.

KP was grabbing his left thumb at one point, but he closed out this game and looked fine, so we're leaving him off the injury report. He didn't turn the ball over in 33 minutes and has been a shot-blocking machine lately, averaging 3.2 swats in his past dozen games.
Jan 18 - 12:07 AM

The Raptors earned their 30th win of the season on Wednesday, aided by Jonas Valanciunas' 17 points, 16 rebounds, three assists and one block in 27 minutes.

This was the bounce-back performance owners wanted after JV logged just 14 minutes on Monday. He's been exceptionally productive when on the court, which enables him to hold standard-league value in just 20 minutes per game. Playing time shouldn't be an issue vs. the Spurs' big frontcourt on Friday, either.
Jan 17 - 11:57 PM

Andre Drummond made 12-of-15 shots to score 25 points on Wednesday, adding 17 rebounds, four steals and two assists in 38 minutes.

The Pistons lost their third straight game despite Drummond's big game, and they were undone by inefficiency -- aside from Drummond, they shot 34.2 percent as a team. Detroit is still clinging to the No. 8 seed in the East with a 22-21 record, and the push for a playoff spot should ensure Drummond and other key guys play big minutes in the second half of the season.
Jan 17 - 11:53 PM

Nikola Mirotic scored 24 points with six rebounds, three assists, one block, three steals and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Warriors on Wednesday.

He hasn't skipped a beat since returning from an illness on Saturday, scoring 18 points in 24 minutes on Monday and 16 points in 22 minutes on Saturday. Mirotic looks to be locked in for minutes in the mid-20s and playing next to Lauri Markkanen at times has helped his consistency. He should be owned in standard leagues, but he could be considered as a sell-high player because a trade would likely hurt his value.
