Brandon Roy (knee) will travel with the Wolves to Chicago for Saturday's game against the Bulls.

Roy apparently bumped knees in the same spot he had previously suffered a bumped knee, and beat writer Jerry Zgoda said that Rick Adelman didn't seem concerned about the injury. Even if this is a maintenance-style absence, it should serve as enough warning to owners that there are more (and bigger) fish in the sea.

O.J. Mayo has been dismissed and disqualified from the NBA for violating terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Andre Drummond's five-year, $130 million deal with the Pistons is done.

The two sides wasted no time in reaching an agreement. Drummond will have a player option after the fourth year, but he will be the face of the franchise for many years to come. Drummond shot just 35.5 percent from the free throw line last season which limited his value in standard leagues, but he also averaged 16.2 points, 14.8 boards, 1.4 blocks and 1.5 steals on 52.1 percent shooting from the field.

Al Jefferson has agreed to a deal with the Indiana Pacers according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

The Pacers will try to play at a faster pace next season, so this is a questionable move. However, Ian Mahinmi and Jordan Hill are both free agents, so maybe the Pacers could bring Big Al off the bench behind Myles Turner to bolster their second-unit scoring. ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that the deal could be for $30 million over three years, but we'll have more details shortly.

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, the Hornets are actively trying to re-sign Marvin Williams.

The Hornets were able to re-sign Nicolas Batum to a five-year deal, and with Jeremy Lin moving onto Brooklyn, Williams is now the No. 1 priority for Charlotte. Al Jefferson is expected to sign with the Pacers, so the Hornets will have plenty of cap space to negotiate a deal for the stretch four. Williams posted averages of 11.7 points, 6.4 boards, 1.4 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.9 3-pointers in Charlotte last season.

According to Jason Quick of CSNNW, the Blazers intend to go after both Chandler Parsons and Dwight Howard.

The Blazers reportedly offered Parsons a four-year max deal right when free agency began, but Howard won't be cheap either considering Timofey Mozgov got $65 million from the Lakers. Howard has also been linked to the Celtics, Hawks and Mavericks, but it's too early to tell which team is the favorite to sign him.

The Suns have officially guaranteed P.J. Tucker's contract for the 2016-17 season.

This means that he will be on the books for $5.3 million which is a great value under the new salary cap. Tucker averaged 8.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 0.8 3-pointers last season, but he shot just 41.1 percent from the floor. He could lose minutes to T.J. Warren next season, so his fantasy outlook isn't promising.
Jul 1 - 12:06 PM

According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Mike Conley is "lasered in" on Memphis and Dallas.

Chandler Parsons and Conley have discussed playing together in Memphis, but Parsons won't follow him to Dallas if that's where the guard ends up. Stein hinted that the Grizzlies are in an "ultra-strong position," so it sounds like the Grizzlies are the favorites to re-sign him.

According to Jeff Goodman of ESPN, the Wizards deal with Bradley Beal is done.

The deal is expected to be worth around $128 million over five years, so Beal got the max deal that he demanded. While his talent is undeniable, the contract is pretty risky considering he's had some serious durability issues and has never played in more than 73 games in a season. Beal averaged 17.4 points, 3.4 boards, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.9 treys in just 55 appearances last season.
Jul 1 - 10:49 AM

Jeremy Lin has agreed to a three-year, $36 million deal with the Brooklyn Nets.

Linsanity is back in New York. Lin worked with Nets coach Kenny Atkinson during his time with the Knicks, so this is a great fit for the 27-year-old. Lin should be the starting PG on opening night and his fantasy value will get a significant boost, while Isaiah Whitehead and Caris LeVert lose a bit of value with this news. Lin's deal includes a player option for the third year.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, Dwyane Wade has received multi-year offers from "rival" teams.

The report adds that rival executives will have the chance to speak with Wade on the phone Friday, so Heat fans have reason to be nervous. The Heat were able to reach an agreement on a max deal with Hassan Whiteside, but they're running out of cap room and it sounds like Wade will use this leverage to increase his value on the open market. He's already been linked to the Mavs and Spurs, but we'll let you know if any other teams surface.
Jul 1 - 9:58 AM

Hassan Whiteside announced on his Snapchat that he will re-sign with the Miami Heat.

"I’ve played on eight teams since college — from Reno to Sioux Falls to Sichuan, China," Whiteside said. "I am not ready for there to be a ninth." It sounded like the Mavs were the favorites to sign Whiteside heading into July 1, but the Heat reportedly "swung back momentum" in their early Friday meeting. The deal is reportedly for four years and $98 million according to the Associated Press, the maximum that the Heat could offer. There's certainly a lot of risk involved with this deal, but he's an intriguing gamble after averaging 14.2 points, 11.8 rebounds and a league-best 3.7 blocked shots last season. For what it's worth, this means the Heat probably don't have a chance to bring Kevin Durant to Miami.
