Brandon Jennings scored 33 points on 12-of-21 shooting (4-of-9 from deep, 5-of-5 from the line) with five rebounds, eight assists, four steals, and two blocks on Monday.

Jennings leads the NBA in steals with 3.4 per game and has had multiple steals in seven straight games. He is returning first round value right now, justifying the higher than normal ranking we had for him.

Nikola Jokic (ankle) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.

Head coach Mike Malone indicated on Tuesday that Jokic was "getting closer," and he was moving around fairly well during Tuesday's shootaround, so perhaps he'll be able to get back out there tonight. We likely won't get official word on his status until after he goes through his pregame routine, but if Jokic is able to get back out there, Mason Plumlee will return to the bench and Kenneth Faried's minutes will take a hit. Stay tuned.
Dec 13 - 12:14 PM

Joe Johnson (wrist) participated during shootaround and will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's matchup with the Bulls.

The Jazz are reportedly expecting Johnson to get back to the court this week, and with him getting through shootaround, it seems there's a good chance he'll be returning from his two-month layoff tonight. With Rodney Hood (ankle) and Johnson getting healthy, Alec Burks' minutes could start trending towards the lower-20s.
Dec 13 - 12:09 PM

Andre Roberson (ankle) participated during shootaround, but he remains questionable to play Wednesday vs. the Pacers.

Roberson sat out Monday's game with the sprained ankle, but he was able to get up some shots during Tuesday's light practice and him going through shootaround is encouraging. He's likely headed for a game-time call, but if he's able to get back out there, Alex Abrines will shift back to the second unit. Stay tuned.
Dec 13 - 12:04 PM

Aaron Gordon (concussion) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Clippers.

Gordon is in the final stages of the concussion protocol testing and was able to take contact during Wednesday morning's shootaround, so perhaps he'll be able to get back out there for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers. With him out tonight, Mario Hezonja will be in line for another start and Nicola Vucevic will see a nice bump in usage.
Dec 13 - 11:53 AM

John Wall (knee) is "very likely" to play Wednesday against the Grizzlies, according to sources of Candace Buckner of The Washington Post.

David Aldridge reported on Tuesday that "all signs point" towards Wall getting back to the court for Wednesday's game, and Wall posted a picture to his Instagram account this morning that read "the wolf is awoke," so things are trending in a very positive direction here. There won't be a shootaround with this being the second game of a back-to-back set, so we likely won't get official confirmation until just prior to tip-off, but it looks like Tim Frazier will be heading back to the bench tonight.

Dec 13 - 11:35 AM

Arron Afflalo (back) will be a game-time call for Wednesday's matchup with the Clippers.

The Magic are saying that Afflalo has a 50-50 shot of getting on the court tonight, but according to Orlando beat reporter Josh Robbins, Afflalo wasn't quite as optimistic following shootaround. If Afflalo isn't able to get out there, the Magic will be very thin on the wings, which would open up a lot of minutes for guys like D.J. Augustin, Shelvin Mack, Jonathon Simmons and Mario Hezonja, with Simmons offering the most upside. Check back closer to tip-off for another update.
Dec 13 - 11:17 AM

Seth Curry (leg) remains without an official timetable to return and acknowledged that surgery is an option that's still on the table.

"It's like a couple week by couple week situation. It's a tricky situation," said Curry. "There's a chance [I'll need surgery], yeah. The path I'm on right now, the MRI shows it's gotten a little better. But there's a chance (he could need a procedure). It's a tricky situation and hard for me to say. It's very frustrating. Recovery-wise, I get out there and work out and feel OK, and it'll bother me the next day." With no clear return date in sight, Curry belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.

Joel Embiid, who was a game-time call with a sore back, played a career-high 39 minutes and went off for 28 points, 12 rebounds, a career-high eight assists, a block and a 3-pointer on 8-of-16 shooting in Tuesday's 118-112 overtime win against Minnesota and Karl-Anthony Towns.

He also hit 11-of-12 free throws, two of which were clutch and helped send the game to overtime with 14 seconds left in regulation. And his 3-pointer put the Sixers up seven with 1:30 left in overtime. He scored seven in the extra period. There were eight ties and 15 lead changes in the fourth quarter of this game, which turned out to be the game of the night. The high minutes are a bit of a concern after Embiid missed his last two games with a gimpy back and he received constant treatment all night, but looked incredible, as usual. The Sixers are off until Friday and host the Thunder in that one, so hopefully Embiid's back will have time to rebound. How can you not Trust the Process?
Dec 13 - 1:30 AM

Richaun Holmes had 15 points, 11 rebounds, a block and a 3-pointer on 6-of-11 shooting in 33 minutes and a start in Tuesday's win over the Wolves.

The Sixers went big against the Wolves, who start Karl-Anthony Towns and Taj Gibson, and it paid off for Holmes, who replaced Tim Luwawu (and injured Robert Covington) in the starting five. He might come off the bench in the next one, but he's rolling right now, averaging 13.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 0.8 steals, 0.8 blocks and 0.5 3-pointers on 54 percent shooting in 25 minutes a night over his last four. He warrants a pickup in most leagues, assuming you have a player you won't miss if you cut him.
Dec 13 - 1:16 AM

Jimmy Butler hit 15-of-33 shots, 3-of-9 3-pointers and 5-of-5 free throws on his way to a season-high 38 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal in 46 minutes of Tuesday's 118-112 loss to the Sixers.

Butler hit back-to-back 3-pointers inside the final 47 seconds that helped send the game to overtime, but couldn't connect on a 20-footer at the buzzer that would have won the game for the Wolves. After a famously slow start to the season, Butler is cooking, scoring at least 30 in three of his last five, and averaging 28.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.8 3-pointers on 51 percent shooting over his last five. Hopefully you didn't get rid of him when he was struggling, or maybe you were able to buy low on him before the explosion. Either way, he looks rejuvenated.
Dec 13 - 1:11 AM

Willie Cauley-Stein returned from a three-game absence due to a sore back and hit 5-of-12 shots and 3-of-7 free throws for 13 points, six rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes of Tuesday's win over the Suns.

If WCS was dropped in your league and you need a big man, you might want to head to your league's site and pick him up right now. He was starting to come on before the injury and he looked good tonight, despite picking up four fouls.
