Al Harrington (knee) has not been cleared to resume basketball activities.

Harrington is recovering from four offseason knee surgeries, three of which stemmed from a staph infection. The Magic are already playing without DeQuan Jones (abductor) and Hedo Turkoglu (hand), leaving them very thin at SF.

Jimmy Butler said he hurt his left knee against the Lakers on Thursday and is unsure if he will play against the Suns on Friday.

He didn't go to the locker room and was not in visible pain on the bench in the closing minutes of the game. Butler usually sucks it up and plays through minor injuries, so he has a good chance to play on the second game of a back-to-back set. If he is out, Tony Snell and Aaron Brooks benefit most.

Wayne Ellington made 9-of-19 from the field for 23 points during a 123-118 double-overtime victory over the Bulls on Thursday, adding five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.

His style of play has completely changed. Ellington would basically just hang around the 3-point line to space the floor, but now he's creating off the dribble. He had nine shots in the paint tonight and coach Byron Scott seems to have complete trust in Ellington as his primary scorer. The 27-year-old swingman is a decent shooter from the field, effective at the line and should add some other stats with the scoring, so he's worth a look in standard leagues.
Jan 30 - 2:02 AM

Jordan Hill scored a season-high 26 points against the Bulls on Thursday with 12 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 41 minutes.

The Lakers gambled here with all of this playing time for Hill, but he looked great in the second overtime. Hill has become a bigger part of the offense in his last 13 games with 12.9 attempts per game from the field, averaging 14.6 points, 8.7 boards, 1.4 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.5 blocks on 51.2 percent shooting. He should be owned in all leagues following this game.
Jan 30 - 1:47 AM

Jordan Clarkson played 43 minutes against the Bulls on Thursday during a double-overtime win, scoring 18 points with four rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer.

It's becoming abundantly clear that Clarkson has his starting job locked down. He is a playmaker for the Lakers and they'll need someone like that in their starting unit. Plus, he's been exceptional at beating guys off the dribble in his rookie season. Clarkson won't be a fantasy stud because of his turnovers and sub-par shooting, but the steals and other stats make him worth a look in standard leagues.
Jan 30 - 1:40 AM

Pau Gasol returned to the Staples Center to face the Lakers in a double-overtime 123-118 loss on Thursday, scoring 20 points with 10 rebounds, six assists and four blocks in 44 minutes.

He received a standing ovation from his former home crowd and the fans even received a Pau Gasol T-shirt. It's pretty clear Gasol made the right move heading to Chicago and he's been one of the best big men in the NBA in his age-34 season. There's no need to sell high unless you can trade him for a first-round asset.
Jan 30 - 1:38 AM

Joakim Noah flirted with a triple-double against the Lakers on Thursday with nine points, 17 rebounds, nine assists and one block in 42 minutes.

He's suddenly on a roll. Noah put up 18 points, 15 boards and six assists on Tuesday, which comes on the heels of some very underwhelming lines for the past month. Considering how frequently he's been hurt and how almost all of his per-minute output is down, his fantasy owners may want to try and sell high here.
Jan 30 - 1:36 AM

Derrick Rose made 7-of-26 from the field for 17 points with four rebounds, six assists, one steal, one 3-pointer and five turnovers in 42 minutes against the Lakers on Thursday.

It's worth mentioning he had a minor ankle tweak in the fourth quarter, but he returned about one minute later in real time. Rose was a little better tonight than he was on Tuesday with taking care of the ball, but his lucky streak from beyond the arc is clearly over, making only 5-of-25 (20 percent) from deep in his last three. His fantasy owners will want to make sure he's ready to roll on Friday against the Suns.
Jan 30 - 1:31 AM

Jimmy Butler suffered a leg injury in his 49th minute of action on Thursday and did not return, matching his career-high 35 points with seven rebounds, one assist, three steals and one 3-pointer.

He came out of the game in double-overtime and had a wrap around his right leg. It doesn't look serious and the Bulls should update his status soon, but he should be considered questionable for Friday against the Suns. While Butler entered tonight at just 40.2 percent from the field in January, he filled it up with averages of 16.3 points, 5.7 boards, 3.5 assists, 2.2 steals, 0.5 blocks and 1.2 triples. He's a top-20 fantasy asset and is not slowing down. His owners will want to check back for an update on Friday.
Jan 30 - 1:28 AM

Zach Randolph logged his 11th consecutive double-double against the Nuggets in a 99-69 win on Thursday with 15 points, 17 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one turnover.

He also had a career-high 17 consecutive double-digit boards with tonight's win. Randolph's stats in 2015 were already extremely impressive before this game, averaging 19.6 points, 13.1 boards, 2.8 assists and 0.5 blocks on 59.2 percent from the field. What's more, Z-Bo is making an unsustainable 51.9 percent on his mid-range shots in 2015. He's a sell-high player, but his fantasy owners can certainly just enjoy the ride if they want to.
Jan 30 - 12:09 AM

Tobias Harris said he hurt right knee on Thursday night.

Towards the end of the third quarter, Harris was walking off the court slowly before a timeout. He stayed in the game for a bit and didn't seem to be bothered by it much before he went to the locker room. This doesn't sound like a serious injury, but he should be considered questionable to play on Saturday against the Mavs. If he's out, Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier and Kyle O'Quinn may benefit.
Jan 29 - 10:51 PM

Nikola Mirotic will start at small forward against the Lakers on Thursday.

The Mirotic Experiment is back on. He was awful at the three earlier this month, but coach Tom Thibodeau is going to give him another shot. And why not against the Lakers? Mirotic has ridiculous upside, so feel free to give him a look in exchange for some semi-dead weight on the end of your bench.
