Greivis Vasquez practiced Thursday and will start Friday despite spraining his right ankle against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Vasquez is coming off a career-high 24 points, as well as nine assists, five rebounds and three 3-pointers. The nine assists are becoming the norm for the former Terp and he should be owned in all formats.

Lonzo Ball (knee) did not practice on Friday and remains out against the Pacers.

He didn't do anything at all, so it's looking like Ball will need to miss at least a couple more games. He'll also have to go through a full practice before getting the green light for a game. With him out, Tyler Ennis should continue to start while Josh Hart, Corey Brewer and Gary Payton II may see increased playing time.

Kyle Kuzma (hand) will play on Friday against the Pacers.

He tweaked his non-shooting hand on Wednesday and did not return. The Lakers were blown out, so not returning in that game is almost irrelevant. With Brandon Ingram (ankle) likely out again, Kuzma could be very busy tonight, especially with Lonzo Ball and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope also out.
Jan 19 - 2:28 PM

Brandon Ingram (ankle) is a game-time decision to face the Pacers on Friday.

He did not go through shootaround, so it's certainly possible he misses at least one game after tweaking his ankle on Wednesday. He also missed Monday's game with an ankle sprain and the Lakers have played him heavy minutes this season. If he's out, that means Josh Hart will be very busy while Corey Brewer, Tyler Ennis and maybe even Gary Payton II pick up some decent run.
Jan 19 - 2:21 PM

Skal Labissiere (shoulder) is listed as probable for Friday against the Grizzlies.

It would appear he'll be back in action after missing Wednesday's game. It's going to be a guessing game on who sits for the Kings, but the best guess would be Kosta Koufos because of Zach Randolph returning to Memphis tonight. Labissiere will have some stand-alone value in the short term, but most of his value lies in his mysterious upside.
Jan 19 - 2:19 PM

DeAndre Jordan (ankle) will not play against the Jazz on Saturday.

He'll miss his fourth contest and being ruled out a day ahead of the game suggests he may need more time off. With DJ out, it's been Willie Reed getting the start, but Montrezl Harrell has been stepping up in the second unit. Harrell is worth a short-term look, assuming you're OK with bad FT%.
Jan 19 - 2:11 PM

Malcolm Brogdon (personal) is listed as out in the game notes for Saturday against the 76ers.

This comes out of nowhere and hopefully everything is OK with President Brogdon. Giannis Antetokounmpo is also listed as out, so Khris Middleton will need a lot of help. Sean Kilpatrick and Sterling Brown would likely see a big bump in minutes while Matt Dellavedova may run the offense a bit. We'll be looking for more details on why Brogdon may not play.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (right knee soreness) is listed as out in the game notes for Saturday's matchup vs. the Sixers.

This is just a game-notes designation, so we'll have to wait to hear from coach Jason Kidd or Antetokounmpo himself for confirmation and an explanation. Hopefully, Milwaukee is merely limiting Antetokounmpo's workload and making sure he has enough rest, as they have done earlier this season. However, the Bucks don't play on Friday or Sunday, so this is not the part of a back-to-back. We'll wait for an update before jumping to conclusions. Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe will see their usage rates spike with Giannis on the sidelines.

Rudy Gobert (knee) will play Friday night vs. the Knicks, but will have a minutes restriction.

Coach Quinn Snyder said he was unsure whether or not Gobert would start. Gobert told reporters that his minutes restriction would be largely based on his level of conditioning and fatigue. Rudy also said that he expects to play Saturday vs. the Clippers as well, barring soreness. It's probably best to steer clear of Rudy in DFS on Friday, but daily fantasy leaguers should feel confident deploying him. Derrick Favors, Jonas Jerebko (back), Joe Johnson and Ekpe Udoh will all see their playing time reduced.
Jan 19 - 1:33 PM

Coach Mike D'Antoni said James Harden's minutes restriction will be increased to 30 Saturday vs. the Warriors.

Harden logged 26 minutes in his return to action Thursday against the Wolves. He shot 3-of-15 from the field and finished with 10 points, two rebounds, seven assists, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer. Most importantly, it appears Harden didn't suffer a setback. Once he knocks off the rust, he'll start posting the monster numbers we've grown accustomed to.
Jan 19 - 1:32 PM

Jamal Murray (concussion protocol) has been upgraded to questionable for Friday's game vs. Phoenix.

Murray missed Wednesday's game after taking a shot to the face Tuesday vs. Dallas. However, Murray told reporters on Friday that he has already had physical activity, including shootaround Friday morning, and will go thru warmups before a final decision is made on whether he will play against the Suns. The Nuggets tip off at 9:00 pm EST, so we should have an update when coach Mike Malone speaks to the media at approximately 7:30.
Jan 19 - 1:13 PM

D'Angelo Russell (knee) said he expects to play Friday vs. Miami and that he has not been given any minutes limit.

Russell, who has not played since November 11th, is on track to make his long-awaited return to the Nets lineup. It's surprising that he claimed he won't have a minutes limit, considering how careful Brooklyn tends to be regarding injuries. Thus, it's safe to assume he will log fewer than 30 minutes in his first game back. Coach Kenny Atkinson should shed some light on that subject when he speaks with the media later today.
