Monta Ellis scored 31 points on 14-of-28 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, five assists, one steal, and two blocks in the Bucks' loss to the Bobcats on Monday.

Poor shooting had kept Ellis down in the rankings, but he's now hitting 42 percent of his field goals and is an early round value. Hopefully owners heeded the calls to be patient. Brandon Jennings hit just 5-of-18 shots for 10 points, four boards, five assists, and two steals, and we're not worried about him in the slightest.

Greg Monroe will move to the bench on Wednesday against the Bucks.

He'll come off the bench in his revenge game. Coach Jay Triano as played Monroe just 21.3 minutes per game in three outings this year, so maybe that playing time drops into the teens. Monroe, Tyson Chandler and Alex Len could be very annoying to own with all three on the active roster.

Tyson Chandler (illness) will start against the Bucks on Wednesday.

It'll be very interesting to see how the center minutes shake out with Chandler, Greg Monroe and Alex Len. Coach Jay Triano has gone three deep at power forward before, so maybe he does the same thing at center. Either way, this could be a messy situation for the next two weeks.
Nov 22 - 7:24 PM

Marcus Morris (knee) said he will play Wednesday vs. Miami.

He'll be coming off the bench behind Aron Baynes tonight, and could be somewhat limited due to the knee issue, so he's not the most attractive guy to roll out there on a busy 14-game Wednesday night.
Nov 22 - 7:23 PM

Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, OG Anunoby, Serge Ibaka and Jonas Valanciunas will start Wednesday vs. the Knicks.

Norman Powell (hip) will be available to play tonight, but after spending the past four games on the sidelines, Dwane Casey will ease him into things by bringing him off the bench. Casey wouldn't commit to either Powell or Anunoby as his long-term starting three-man, so these guys could bounce in and out of the starting five depending on the matchup. It'll be interesting to see how long OG can hold Powell off.
Nov 22 - 7:12 PM

P.J. Tucker will start for Ryan Anderson (illness) on Wednesday against the Nuggets.

He could see some decent minutes because Eric Gordon (calf) is also out for this game. Luc Mbah a Moute figures to get minutes at the forward spots and the Rockets could run a fairly tighter rotation. Tucker could be a sneaky DFS punt or a stream, but this is a 14-game night.
Nov 22 - 6:47 PM

Eric Gordon (sore calf) and Ryan Anderson (illness) are out for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.

The good news on this is that it's just being called soreness for Gordon. Plus, the Rockets don't play again until Saturday, so he's basically getting a week off from game action. With him out, Bobby Brown or even Troy Williams could be added to the rotation, or the Rockets could add more minutes to their usual rotation. P.J. Tucker is going to start tonight.
Nov 22 - 6:43 PM

Wilson Chandler (sore back) will be available to play Wednesday vs. Houston.

Chandler was a full participant during Tuesday's practice and has only missed one game with this minor back issue, so he'll likely return to the starting five tonight, which will shift either Will Barton or Kenneth Faried back to the second unit. Barton should be fine regardless of how he enters the game because he's due for an uptick in usage sans Paul Millsap (wrist), but Faried would be far less effective as a reserve. Stay tuned.
Nov 22 - 6:36 PM

Kevin Durant (ankle) will play against the Thunder on Wednesday.

This is probably the least surprising development of the day. Durant will likely be getting his share of cupcake-based messages from the crowd, but he should be fairly close to 100 percent after missing Sunday night. Get him in your lineup for a revenge game and consider him in DFS.
Nov 22 - 6:35 PM

Eric Gordon (calf) and Ryan Anderson (illness) are doubtful to play against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

This is a new injury for Gordon and he may have suffered it on Saturday during a blowout win against the Grizzlies. Gordon has really struggled to stay healthy in his pre-Rockets days, so hopefully this isn't the start of something that lingers. With him out, P.J. Tucker figures to step up the most while Bobby Brown could get in the rotation. Chris Paul is also expected to play 28 minutes.
Nov 22 - 6:20 PM

Norman Powell (hip) will be available to play Wednesday vs. the Knicks.

Powell has spent the past four games on the sidelines, so the Raptors may want to take it easy on him and bring him off the bench, but it'll be interesting to see how long OG Anunoby can hold Powell out of the starting lineup. C.J. Miles will also play less with Powell back in the rotation.
Nov 22 - 6:16 PM

Spencer Dinwiddie, Allen Crabbe, DeMarre Carroll, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Tyler Zeller will start against the Cavs on Wednesday.

It'll be Zeller's first start this season, but he should be close to his 16.8 minutes per game in his eight active outings this season. Behind Zeller, Jarrett Allen is likely going to be in the rotation unless the Nets want to get another look at Timofey Mozgov. Allen's upside in blocks makes him the more interesting pickup.
