Greivis Vasquez hit 10-of-13 shots and posted career highs of 25 points and 14 assists as the Hornets lost a tough one to Phoenix in overtime on Friday.

Vasquez also added a 3-pointer, five rebounds, a steal and six turnovers on the night, and has been one of the true steals in fantasy this season. He remains unchallenged at point guard in New Orleans and is a must-start player until further notice, although his shooting is usually suspect, making tonight's performance fall a little on the lucky side.

Raymond Felton (personal) will miss Wednesday's game against the Warriors and is expected to miss additional time.

First and foremost, we hope everything is OK with Felton and his family. With Felton out of the lineup, the Clippers could bring Wes Johnson into the rotation or give a few more minutes to J.J. Redick, Austin Rivers and Jamal Crawford. Felton was playing 17.0 minutes per game this season.
Dec 7 - 9:07 PM

Darrell Arthur started the third quarter over Kenneth Faried on Wednesday.

The Nets just dominated in the first half with 42 points in the paint. Faried played just four minutes in the first half and is now firmly in coach Mike Malone's doghouse. Arthur may get a little boost and is worth a look in deeper leagues.
Dec 7 - 8:55 PM

Ben McLemore will start next to Darren Collison, Rudy Gay, Kosta Koufos and DeMarcus Cousins against the Mavs on Wednesday.

McLemore was a DNP-CD in the last three games, so this is an interesting tweak for coach Dave Joerger. McLemore is nowhere near on the radar in most leagues, but maybe he can change that for deep leagues with a strong game tonight.
Dec 7 - 8:33 PM

Salah Mejri will start against the Kings on Wednesday night.

It'll be his third start of the season. Andrew Bogut (knee) is going to miss several games and at least 10 days, so Mejri is going to get some run. He played 29.5 minutes per game in his previous starts, so he may be on the radar as a short-term pickup in deeper leagues. Dwight Powell also benefits in a big way tonight.
Dec 7 - 8:28 PM

An MRI of Derrick Rose (back) revealed no structural damage.

He is listed as day-to-day and is expected to travel with the Knicks for their upcoming road trip. Rose said he's dealt with fatigue in his side and legs, so the Knicks may opt to just give him a few days off. If he is going to miss more time, Brandon Jennings would get most of the run with Ron Baker behind him.
Dec 7 - 8:15 PM

Jordan Clarkson and Marcelo Huertas will start against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Coach Luke Walton is adding some extra punch to his first unit and helping out the second unit with Brandon Ingram shifting to the bench. The Lakers are leading the NBA in bench scoring thanks to Clarkson and Lou Williams, who has been on fire. Clarkson did start the second half on Saturday and should see minutes in the mid 30s. His fantasy owners will be hoping for him to snap out of his slump.
Dec 7 - 7:53 PM

Raptors assistant coach Nick Nurse admitted that the coaching staff is deciding Jonas Valanciunas' role on a nightly basis, depending on matchups and the flow of the game.

Head coach Dwane Casey said he'll "take the blame" for Valanciunas not being in a rhythm because he's "in and out of the lineup because of the matchup situations." According to Nurse, "We're trying to figure out while the game's going on what's going to give us the best chance to win. And sometimes it means it's not [Valanciunas or other players]." JV got off to a strong start this year but he's really struggled in a decreased role lately. Frustrated owners can either sell at a steep discount or stay patient until he regains his footing.

Dec 7 - 7:40 PM

Jordan Clarkson or Lou Williams may start against the Rockets on Wednesday night.

The Lakers are running out of guards to use in their first unit, so coach Luke Walton will have to break up his second unit. Williams has been on fire in his last two and should have value regardless. Clarkson played a solid game on Monday and could also get a bump in value with a starting nod. Both are in play for DFS tonight.
Dec 7 - 6:40 PM

Nikola Jokic (wrist) will be available to play Wednesday vs. the Nets.

To be clear, available to play doesn't necessarily mean he takes the court, and he could be eased into things after spending the past three games on the sidelines, so he's not a must-start guy with 10 games being played tonight. If he does get out there, however, he'll take away minutes from Kenneth Faried and Darrell Arthur.
Dec 7 - 6:30 PM

Brandon Jennings will move into the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cavs, with Derrick Rose (back) unavailable.

Per-36 minutes this season, Jennings is averaging 11.6 points, 8.6 dimes, 4.4 boards, 1.7 steals and 1.7 triples per contest, so he's certainly on the radar as a potential DFS punt play or streamer option with a favorable matchup against the Cavs.
Dec 7 - 6:17 PM

Derrick Rose (sore lower back) will be unavailable for Wednesday's game against the Cavs.

He said he had back spasms on Tuesday, but also said his side, leg and everything was fatigued. He's also going to get an MRI to make sure everything is OK. Considering Rose's injury history and lengthy time to recover, he's likely looking at more games out of the lineup. Brandon Jennings should get a boost in playing time and is worth a look for his short-term boost. Ron Baker should also be in the rotation tonight.
